After the small narrow stone streets of Bergamo, we end up to this palace and stayed a while to enjoy the architecture, the fountain, and the square.

Right at the inner city of the old upper Bergamo, the CittΓ‘ Alta. Excellent monuments of medieval culture and architecture. Historic places to visit with shops and coffee houses all next to the famous square, the Piazza Vecchia. It is worth visiting.

Really cool museum with lots of multimedia installations (although more english translations would be nice). The tower gives a stunning view of the city and the surrounding hills: definitely worth seeing! But note: at the full hour the bells ring and that can be quite the shock if you’re not prepared :D
