Excellent place for budget trips. Very clean, staff is super nice and the location is amazing. Special thanks to @adi.21 for her hospitality!

Our experience at this hostel was okay. However the bar was not open due to covid so there was no easy way to meet people. Even before covid when I stayed here, it is full of families and groups and it is a struggle to socialize. The best part is the fantastic location!

No words. Freezing showers, the worst manager. Disgusting bathrooms, no curtains in the beds, no place to dry clothes. WiFi not working. Zero atmosphere, free tour given by a random guy.

for a room of 12 people with no regards to what time it is to make noise while others sleeping 33€ is A LOT! I don't like it and I don't think I'd ever go back there. I didn't feel safe and I think some of the people who were staying were smoking weed, idk if it's legal here in Spain but it makes me feel unsafe. but the reception was very friendly (with almost no English btw). Also the location is not bad it's close to the city centre.

I'd say this is exactly an exact 3 star experience for a budget hostel, nothing is terrible but not great either. The place itself is pretty old and feels kinda dirty, but the location is pretty central and easy to access most everything in the city on foot. The showers are pretty terrible for water temperature (switching from burning hot to ice cold constantly throughout the shower), but at least there were enough of them that I never had to wait for anyone else to finish. The beds didn't have privacy curtains, but at least they have large lockers (bring your own lock), and the doors to each room are locked so no one else can enter besides the people staying in the room. At the time I went, it was more like a refugee haven than a hostel, given that i seemed to be one of (if not the) only western tourists staying, but that could have been because it was Christmas season, and the refugees were all nice and friendly anyways. I would maybe consider staying here if I needed a cheap bed for a couple of nights to explore the city, but I'd recommend not coming here if you aren't able to rough it a little.

I stayed here for one night, it was a last minute decision as I had missed a train, yet all was fine, I booked on line and they were ready for my arrival when I turned up just before midnight. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I left early in the morning so no idea what the breakfast would be like

The staff are very pleasant. However the hostel property is not good, it's absolutely sweltering in the rooms and the air conditioning is not easily adjusted, rather one has to ask at reception. There are no charging ports or lights on the bed so it's challenging to charge your phone overnight. The dining area and kitchen are small, uncomfortable and poorly resourced (for example, there is no hob), there is an additional kitchen but I was informed that's only for certain guests from larger groups. For the full duration of my trip, the common area was commandeered by a small number of people for the entire day, so not the most inviting of spaces.

It was a terrible experience staying at this place. 8 people live in one room. The photo is not true. Mosquitoes and cockroaches are everywhere. The staff is disgusting. 0/5

Big kitchen with plenty of table space and a separate tray for each room so you can store your food. Lovely common areas on the 5th floor. Helpful staff. Good location very close to the city center and with a supermarket just in front. The dorm rooms are primitive. I get that's it's not a luxury hotel, but at least I would expect to have a lamp at the bed. I didn't like the showers. It's a bit awkward to be naked and drying myself when the door to the hallway keeps opening because people have to get in and use the sinks/restrooms. And basic facilities like a place to put my clothes were lacking. It seems that they have not given any thought in the design of the shower/restroom areas to provide a comfortable experience. I took my showers at the gym instead.

I visited Valencia during the Fallas, it was a last-minute booking so I can't complain, as it has a good price and great location. The hostel was nice and overall very clean. The room lockers are quite loud and not designed to minimize sound. You can wake up a couple of times overnight when people take out their stuff. Also, they don't have a good lost-and-found system: I forgot my metal water bottle from uni and came back on the same day but it had disappeared... probably not stolen but just tossed away. The lady at the desk was kind to help me, but it seems their policy is to keep the space clean of personal stuff (check twice before you check out!)

Good hostel. Great staff. Good location. They have a breakfast for €5 that is located at the other hostel, 200m from there. My only complaint is that in my room, the bunk beds were a little too close to each other.

Shout out to the italian receptionist who is very nice and the only good thing here. The doors didnt work so all guests had to go down everytime they wanted to go to their room asking the receptionist to come open. The 1st and 2nd floors are a migrant center with free food given(at least the gesture in lovely but should be mentionned). The smell of rotten in the dormitory is slightly annoying. The shower doesn't work properly the temperature is 50 degrees celsius minimum. Lockers neither.

very noisy and bathrooms are not really clean, double room too expensive for what you get. the location is great, staff was nice.

Great basic service with friendly, helpful staff. Its in a great location just a couple minutes from the Cathedral and very walkable to other locations. They have a small bar on the top floor which was a great way to meet people no matter which room you were in. They also offer a free walking tour and activities in the bar which were great when you are a bit introverted like me. It is also on a busy street but despite this was not noisy. I am a pretty deep sleeper though so if you're sensitive to noise maybe ask for a room in the back. Only real problem was the floors in the room not being very clean despite everything else being clean.

If you’re someone who is very social, or wants to break a boundary and socialize with others who are also traveling then this is the place for you. I’ve met many great people here and friendships formed that will last awhile. There are other hostels where you’ll have some sort of privacy, but the opportunity to easily socialize isn’t there. If you’re a solo traveler and looking to make friends in the easiest way possible then this is the place for you. I guess my one complaint are the showers and how there’s not much space for your things and you have to keep pressing the button every 10 seconds. I’m definitely coming back here this winter!

Nice food, great place, air-condition is working good, but elevator is too low and there are questions about cleaning. Well it depends of the tourists)

My worst sleeping experience. No AC that night and the place wasn't very clean. The vibe isn't all that but the people that work there are super nice and welcoming.

Thieves. Won't give me a refund despite trying to be as responsible as I can. I caught COVID and tried to get a refund on my 3 night stay but they won't. Now I can't afford a private room for the rest of my stay and will probably have to sleep in the streets before my flight home. No clear COVID policy on my Google search but the Google search did tell me to cancel in person so I don't see how I could have done this better. All I want is to not ruin anyone elses holiday and now this hostel is refusing me the refund to do so

Clean; spacious enough for a hostel; very central ; but this city is quite boring I think at most 2 or 3 days are more than enough; and hostel staff if can be nicer will be great

Great location, nice staff, exceedingly overcrowded rooms. They let in more people than they have beds for. Safety Hazzard and noise!

Hi again, My comments are honest and true, I believe there was three other guests with me in the room who complained about the exact same thing. It is insane, I don't know how you guys are getting this "5 stars reviews" I think you are asking people to do so so you can show first on Google's search engine or social media. I am not upset or anything, I just said what I experienced, as Hostelworld and Google were asking about it. I didn't like the fact that someone was putting his stuff in the place where I had to put my things, I didn't like that there was no individual lights in the bed, I didn't like that there is no curtains, I did not like the absence of a single plug close to your bed to charge your phone, I did not like the bathrooms and showers system (you have to keep pressing the tap to have water) nowhere where to hang your towel and clothes! I don't want to talk about the kitchen because that's a whole different struggle. But it's alright, you could just check out our hostels in the town and you'll see the difference. Good luck.

Red Nest is a great location, close to the train station and all the main sites. The showers were not the best, you have to press the water every 2 seconds for it to work and water gets everywhere on the floor-also nowhere to put your things in the shower. The bathroom door in the women's restroom on the 4th floor was so loud it woke us up every time someone closed it. The walking tour was said to start at 09:45 but when we arrived at 09:40 they had already left and we could not find the tour at the sites they said. Although these are true, we did enjoy our stay and the staff and location were great!
