FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! We had the most lovely long weekend as a young couple with our 14 month old daughter. The staff was incredible, the rooms fantastic, the property beautiful, the food delicious, and we spent half the weekend in the awesome pool. Vibes were A+. 10/10 would recommend! 🩵

I had a great time at this wonderful place. I loved the room, specially the beds are the best quality I have ever had in a hotel, everything also very clean an comfortable. The staff was very obliging , specially Veronica with her kindness!!! The only negativ Things are, singles have to pay the price of a twin room and it's not easy to reach the wonderful beach nearby.

Wow, my husband and I were blown away by our experience at Aethos. Everything from the service, the incredible interior design, the views, and the location- we loved it all. The staff is incredibly friendly and upon arrival gave us a tour of the space, so we felt right at home. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of the town and as pictured, the views were absolutely stunning. I see other reviews stating the rooms are small, but I felt it was the perfect size. There were many amenities we didn’t use as we were only there for one night, but one of our favorite features was the e-bikes they provide for guests. We had a fun ride around the property and watched a gorgeous sunset. The restaurant had fine food, but we enjoyed exploring the town for other eateries. I highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back!

Great location and rooms. Amazing pool with great pool service. Knowing it was my honeymoon, the hotel, however, choose not acknowledge it or not make our time anyway special. It was exactly as staying at any other good hotel with a standardised approach. The restaurant does not mach the hotel. They did not comply with my written and verbal request for a special table for dinner, and the service was clumsy and etiquette-less.

1000% recommend! I recently visited with my sister and Aethos was nothing short of perfection. We loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay. The service was exceptional, the entire team was kind and attentive, the food & drinks were fantastic, and the views throughout the hotel were simply magical. A special thanks to Joana, Andre and Afonso for their remarkable warmth and hospitality throughout our stay. I am eagerly looking forward to returning soon.

It was a wonderful stay and experience. The location directly at the sea is breathtaking. My room was very nice - superb mattress, stylish bathroom and sea view. All employees are super friendly and competent. I can fully recommend this place - it’s the 5 Star experience you expect.

The best hotel I’ve been so far. We came for our friend wedding, and everything was really great from the room to the service. Very responsive and kind staff, beautiful breakfast. And the view from the room just impeccable. Definitely recommend

Xau or Xavier was a major reason why we loved the hotel. Welcomed us and gave us truly great advice throughout our stay. Told us things that made our trip to Portugal memorable. Hotel was great too - nice vibe, great comfort level, and amazing views (especially for the sunsets).

This place is just amazing. Lovely people, tranquil setting and a really relaxed atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of the sea and a nice breakfast was just one of the perks. What really did it for me, the architecture of this place, many nice details without showing off. Will definitely come back.

We liked the quiet location and the design of the hotel. The beds were phantastic and the breakfast had a perfect variety to select from. Only the waitress mentioning just one hot drink per person was irritating. The The pool situation next to entrance of customers arriving is nor really appealing. For the rooms I would suggest a more powerful hairdryer.

The entire team was wonderful. We booked for 3 nights, extended 2 more and then we extended 2 more nights again. I won’t mention employees by name but everyone that interacted with us were kind, sincere, genuine and very professional. We were experiencing bad weather with Atlantic storms and the staff was exceptional morning noon and night! We will be back…

Amazing view from the spacious terrace overlooking the ocean. Really nice service throughout our entire stay. The rooms and the entire hotel are very new and stylish. I would definitely come back any time!

10/10 Experience across the board. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out we were blown away by the staff, aesthetic, views, and details. Not to mention Ericeira being a perfect little town to explore once you're able to pull yourself away from this hotel. Will be telling anyone willing to listen about this place.

This place is AMAZING. If you want to go, I just telling you : do It at the end of your trip, because after you go at this hotel, nothing is better and you will always compare ! The design, the service, the food, the pool, the view, all is just Perfect. You are at 10 minute in car to Ericeira, so just Perfect to visit and come back Relaxing!

We loved every bit of our stay and recommend it 100%. The rooms are very comfy, the pool and gym area are nice, the breakfast was delicious and the team was so welcoming and courteous! We also took two group surf lessons and it was so much fun. The surf school working with aethos belongs to Joana Andrade and she and her team are more than amazing! The only (tiniest) thing: the rooms only offer a small travel sized hairdryer - maybe an upgrade on this at some point would be nice :) everything else was amazing and we really loved every minute of our stay!

AE is a stunning hotel - beautiful interiors and well considered and designed rooms, on a ridiculous location on the edge of a cliff. But what made the stay most special were the staff. Felipa, and her FOH team, were always helpful and fun - they get both service AND hospitality, they are two different but important things. Thank you. My only feedback, and it is constructive, not negative... would that it would be great to have a little more connection to the nearby beaches. Perhaps a shuttle/car that goes down and back every couple of hours.

My fiancé and I had such an incredible weekend getaway at Aethos Ericeira! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We brought our dog with us and they had a little dog bed and dog bowls set up in the room for him! The hotel has a selection of amazing experiences you can sign up for, we chose to do surfing lessons and then a couples massage the next day, both of which we highly recommend!! The ladies at the spa were so friendly and welcoming and made our experience so relaxing, enjoyable and memorable! Unfortunately it was a little gloomy during our stay but that didn’t stop us from being able to enjoy the outdoor heated pool and walks around the property. Thank you to the staff for such a memorable experience and for anyone considering this property, we highly recommend spending time here!

One of the best hotel experiences ever. Off the beaten track, but worth it. Great staff, great food, wonderful design and furniture that provides a calming feeling. Terrific!

What a beautiful place for a retreat weekend. This boutique hotel is located out of town, on a beautiful cliff next to the ocean, the first thing you feel when you feel when you arrive is a pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted at the entrance by the very kind staff, they were all super friendly and gave us recommendations on what to do & where to eat (Esplanada Furnas is a great restaurant that lets you experience the real taste of the see, I highly recommend it.) The rooms are spacious and very well designed, comfortable beds. There’s a pool too, so if it’s a warm day you can always enjoy & refresh yourself swimming. There is plenty of nature to see right outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a place that doesn’t have the loudness of the city, that is surrounded by beautiful nature and that it’s highly designed this is the place for you. I would definitely return.

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel. I had been wanting to come and I’m so glad I did. The hotel is not only beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the entire staff were exceptional. From the concierge to the restaurant and housekeeping, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing and probably some of my favorite meals on my travels. I never wanted leave because I was so comfortable. I booked a massage after surfing the past week and it was just what I needed. The staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. My only complaint is I didn’t stay longer. My own fault, I can’t wait to come back one day.

Beautiful design in a serene setting. Good food both at breakfast and dinner. Great spa treatment led by Ines and her sister, Sofia - we loved them! Lovely cocktails and mock tails at sunset with stunning views. Room was extremely clean with a cool design. Bathroom a little small and strangely no tea or coffee machines in room. Service very warm, friendly and efficient, but pool service could be improved (ie service late morning, not just afternoon; water tank for refills; towel station). These are minor tweaks. We enjoyed our stay and would return!
