A
really
great
place
to
take
your
children
whilst
away
on
your
hols.
A
huge
variety
of
games
and
challenges
to
play
as
well
as
some
farm
animals.
We
went
mid
August,
which
meant
the
place
was
empty
(Portugal
heads
for
the
coast
en
mass
every
Aug).
Our
gang
included
two
adults
and
two
children
(a
5
year
old
and
a
21month
old
toddler).
The
ideal
right
ages
would
be
around
3-10
probably,
although
our
youngest
still
enjoyed
getting
stuck
in.
Games
include
tug-of-war,
plenty
of
throwing
games
such
as
horseshoe,
frisbee,
hooplas,
basketball,
several
mini
golf
type
games,
a
pedal
kart
track,
two
trampolines
at
opposite
ends
of
the
park
and
some
other
quite
inventive
ideas
that
are
tricky
to
describe
but
probably
the
highlights.
The
picnic
area
is
attractive
and
shady
and
the
reception
sells
a
small
selection
of
cold
drinks
and
a
couple
of
ice
creams.
There's
no
food
of
note,
but
they'll
recommend
a
couple
of
very
local
(5
mins
drive)
restaurants/cafes
(of
which
Doce
Vita
is
superb).
The
setup
is
certainly
rustic
and
very
much
'hand
made'
and
doesn't
look
out
of
place
in
Portugal,
but
might
be
too
simple
for
some
families'
expectations
(it's
not
your
Cotswold
Farm
Park
level,
but
on
the
other
hand
the
variation
of
games
cannot
be
even
contested).
It
made
for
a
real
nice
change
amongst
our
family
holiday,
assisted
by
such
a
helpful
and
friendly
staff
(Sandro).
