My
partner
and
I
recently
had
the
pleasure
of
dining
at
Masala
Indian
Restaurant
in
Cascais,
Portugal.
Let
me
tell
you
–
we
were
blown
away
by
the
food
and
service.
One
of
my
favorite
dishes
was
the
vegetable
biryani,
a
flavorful
blend
of
aromatic
rice
and
mixed
vegetables
with
many
delicious
spices.
The
biryani
was
cooked
to
perfection
–
the
rice
was
fluffy,
and
the
vegetables
were
just
the
right
amount
of
tender.
And
let's
talk
about
those
spices
–
they
were
perfectly
balanced
and
added
so
much
depth
to
the
dish's
flavor.
We
also
ordered
the
aloo
gobi,
which
was
just
as
tasty
as
the
biryani.
It
featured
tender
chunks
of
potato
and
cauliflower
in
a
rich
and
flavorful
sauce.
Yum!
And
to
top
it
all
off,
we
ordered
a
side
of
garlic
naan
bread,
which
was
light,
fluffy,
and
slightly
crispy
on
the
outside.
It
was
the
perfect
complement
to
the
biryani
and
aloo
gobi
–
like
the
icing
on
the
cake
(or
the
nan
bread
on
the
curry,
if
you
will).
But
the
food
wasn't
the
only
highlight
of
the
night
–
the
service
was
top-notch
too!
Our
server,
Mandeep,
was
super
friendly
and
attentive,
continuously
checking
in
on
us
to
ensure
we
had
everything
we
needed.
Plus,
he
was
a
pro
at
recommending
dishes
and
answering
any
questions
we
had
about
the
menu.
In
short,
Masala
Indian
Restaurant
is
a
5-star
experience
in
my
book.
The
food
was
delicious,
with
a
wide
variety
of
flavors
and
spices,
and
the
service
was
impeccable.
The
owner
also
owns
the
Tasting
Room
across
the
way,
which
is
also
very
good,
but
that
is
another
review
to
be
posted
in
the
future.
