We had a great week at Juliens place. He is a superb surf teacher and a very kind person. The house is clean and nicely furnished - with an awesome pool and nice hangout areas. I would recommend it to everyone - it has everything you need.

I took 5 private lessons/guiding from him during 5 day trip in Ericeira. My experience with Julian was awesome. Although the conditions were not always fevorable / even smetimes hard for intermediate like me, I was able to catch some good waves thanks to Julian. Also, I felt like I was a local as he brought me some unique places that locals would only know. He is a very friendly, hospitable and caring. We had an amazing private lesson with myself (intermediate) and my partner who had never surfed! Julian was able to coach us both theory and practical skills that had us BOTH carving the green walls set after set!! The whole afternoon was an amazing experience and I will be back in Ericeira in the water with Julian ASAP!!

Julien is an amazing and kind soul with a very proficient knowledge of surfing. He helped our group of 6 learn the basics of surfing, the area, and showed us a great time. I would not want to learn from anyone else!!! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking to surf, learn to surf, or in need of coaching.

My surf lesson with Julien was the absolute highlight of my trip to Portugal! He was thorough - from wet suit fittings, to teaching us surf theory, about the tides, doing a thorough warm up & most helpful of all, providing specific feedback for each of us. Took 2 days of lessons with Julien and they were hands down the best I’ve ever taken. Each session started w warm ups, land drills to improve balance, lessons on right orientation of the board, how to read the waves, and once we got in the water he was amazing at helping me find the best waves while building my confidence through personal coaching and just hyping me up He was also so fun to get to know and felt like I was making a new friend! He offered me a ride, took me to a local breakfast spot, gave me lots of recs, and even introduced me to a few other people. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Julien you’re ever in Portugal and will definitely be coming back to surf w him in the future.

I had such a great surf experience with Julien! The moment I entered his car, i knew it's gonna be so much fun ❤️ his energy is contagious and his teaching skills are awesome! He had a lot of patience, always watched us and gave us feedback on how to get better and encouraged us when we did great! Definitely a name and personality to remember in Ericeira!!

Julian is wonderful surf coach! He helped and improved my surfing so much in just 5 days! He went out of his way, above and beyond, to make our stay in Portugal wonderful! Trip to Ericeira was made at a last minute. Never visited the place but I wanted to explore somewhere to surf in Europe during the long weekend in UK recently. Found a rental board and wetsuit and contacted Waves Finder online to see if they could help me find a good spot to surf. Julien was very friendly and took his time to meet me a day before the date that I booked him to understand what I was looking for and my surf level. We met the next day. Swell dropped a bit and he took me less crowded beach break where waves were bigger. The scenery along the cliffs was amazing. While I was surfing he took photos and videos and shared them with me post the trip. Everything was so personalised and I was very happy that I booked Julien and highly recommend him for anyone who want to explore beautiful Ericeira for surfing. Thanks mate. Best Place to stay, when visiting Ericeira! Great Host! Great atmosphere! You’ll feel like coming home. Nice Breakfast and totally recommending the BBQ Night! Location offering many areas to chill and relax, especially loved the pool and Happy, the Hosts dog :) Super close to great Surf Spots, including Ribeira D’ilhas ( only a short walk) Take your surf to the next level, staying few minutes away from the beach!! The best place to stay when you’re in Ericeira! The house is beautiful and the rooms are decorated with love and detail. The pool and the view are amazing. But most important the host Julien is the nicest and best host you could wish for! He shows you around, takes you surfing (best surf teacher!) and he’s very very funny 😄 the dog Happy and the cat Panther are always by his side and they are really cute. I love this place and I’m definitely coming back soon! :)

Wonderful house with beautiful Garden, Pool and Barbecue area. The location is just 10 minutes walk from the popular surfspot Ribeira d‘Ilhas. The owner is very kind and the best surfteacher I ever had! If you go there you will have a great time ;)

Just amazing! The house is super nice and spacious, the rooms with private bathrooms are modern and so thoughtfully decorated I felt like home! The house also offers a lot including a private pool a barbecue spot and a wonderful little garden with a beautiful view. The host and his adorable dog are super friendly and helpful! He really helps where ever he can and also offers theoretical and practical surf lessons. He is super thoughtful and careful and puts a lot of effort and attention into his guests and surf students! I stayed for a whole month and would always come back! The WiFi is also amazing and stable so workations are possible and comfortable! Feels like home away from home :) Thank you!!!

I was in lagun-Ericeira about 3 weeks ago and the house is awesome. Billiard table, ping pong table, Pool area...! The house owner is very kind and funny person and also a very good surf teacher. The house has also a good position, you can walk to the beach in like 10-15 minutes. I can say only good things about lagun-ericeira and if you decide to go there you‘ll feel the same way!

This is the place to be if you are looking for an amazig time. Whether you want to learn surfing, improve your skills and get better or just chillig at the pool or at the beach. Lagun has everything! The owner is really handsome and has become a good friend of mine. You can visit lagun with your friends or make some new friends there. The prices are really fair and the whole house is nicely furnished and clean. I would definately recommend this and i will visit lagun again as soon as possible!

I already knew Julien from a surf lesson taken with him last november. I asked him last minute if I could come with a friend to Lagun, and he answered " Come!". We were with another girl and Julien in the house and it was amazing: it felt like being with a bunch of old friends, we had so much fun! The house is great, super comfy beds and great equipments. Julien is an amazing surf instructor and will do his best to give you a great time and the best conditions to surf! He is also a great host: always smiling, going out with us, showing us good restaurants, bars, places to chill after surfing... We had a very good time and laughed a lot. We will be back for sure! I already miss the two mascotts: Happy (the dog) and Panthera (the cat) ... Thank you again for this amazing week, Maud

We stayed at Julien´s wonderful house for one week with our friends. It is a very nice and modern house and you will find everything you need for a very comfy and fun stay. Tabletennis, comfy beds, Pool, Billard, big kitchen and most important - the ocean, only 2 min by car or a few minutes to walk. Guys, don´t miss the chance to take a few surfing lessons with Julien. He is the best teacher EVER. Thank you for the wonderful time. We will be back. That is for sure. :)

Stayed here for 6 nights and I can only say positive things about the place, the price and the host! Julien is a great guy who knows everything about Ericeira and everything that’s around Ericeira. He guides you to good surf spots, restaurants, bars and other places. The hostel has a big kitchen, small but very nice bathroom, a pool, a pool table, ping pong,... you’ll never get bored here. It’s from walking distance from the surfspot Ribeira d’Ilhas that offers you waves for all levels. Absolutely recommend this place!
