    Great calm riverside beach. A lot of things to do and see with kids. It the entrance you are advised about of doubtable water quality. It seemed very clear and calm but you never know what happens 10 km. up the river. Nice refugee when the coastal climate fails with heavy clouds and poor weather. This was exactly what we needed :)

    River beach on the left bank of the Tagus, rarely crowded. Big sandbanks and a few islets in the river. Accessible by car (last leg by a short gravel road)
