Great little campsite good size pitches. We were here in march so no restaurant or pool open. Staff friendly and helpful. It's a little run down in parts some of the chalets from the outside could do with a lick of paint but the communal shower areas and toilets were spotless clean. Dogs allowed. Camps site has chalets allows motorhomes caravans and tents. It's a little expensive considering the time of year we visited and that there was no facilities pool restaurant open but a good stopover.

The park is great to be in nature, love the swimming pool and the staff, however wifi is slow, there are flies next to the pool, there's noise from the roads close to the camping, as a way to solve the noise issue you could plant more trees or have an artificial barrier

It's OK, reasonable location with a bit of a walk to Nazare. The staff were friendly enough. The biggest issue is that it's very hard to find a flat pitch for the campervan - almost all pitches are sloping, and often sandy so you have to be careful not to get stuck. It was also very windy, and there was a constant rain of large pine cones from the tall pine trees hitting the van, and potentially anyone sitting outside. This is actually quite dangerous and apart from causing damage to vans, could injure someone. I realise they can't control the wind, but the really need to hire arbolists to clean up the trees.

This is a site for tents only, not campervans. Not easy to park, poor signage. Sandy ground means heavy vehicles getting stuck. Reception staff not helpful. Not en ough facilities for people. 2 shower, 4 teoiletsl, 1 urinals. Do not come here

Great camping place near Nazaré! We (3 ppl, 1 car and a tent) paid less than 25€ for a night, including showers, pool area, WiFi and fresh water access. The receptionist was friendly and helpful in all aspects. You also have a chance to buy some nessesaries here. (Water, Softdrinks, beer, bread, jam etc.) Laundry machine and dry are available for additional 6€ each. (Absolutely fair!) Everything is clean and super calm. Even though the location is close to the highway, you don't hear any noise during the night. Surrounded by pine trees you got lots of shade. Sanitaries, fresh water and electricity are always nearby. The bathrooms are clean and in good shape! (I don't understand ppl complaining about the sanitaries, what are you expecting on a camping trip? A yakuzee? Sauna?) 6 out of 5 stars for the shower. Always hot water with amazing pressure! The only thing I missed a little bit was something like a BBQ area (or I just didn't found it) And! I absolutely don't get the ppl complaining about the bathrooms. You are on a camping place, what are you expecting? A yakuzee? Sauna? For the once who got stuck in the sand, you see that the underground is not made to drive in, don't do it! Book a hotel next time! The once complaints about the "enormous mountains" you need to climb. Sorry! Bit you are in Portugal! You guys provide a perfect spot with great service! Thanks for hosting us! We will come back for sure!

Typical Orbitur: expensive and lousy conditions. Camping enclosed by roads and an industial complex next to it. Located in dune / forrest like area. Soft sandy areas destined for campers. We were shown 'the best location'.... which consisted of soft sand and very hard to get the van leveled. Again one of those sites more focused on bungalows. Therefor camping and guests degraded to 2nd grade. Sanitary facilities ample and clean. Go there if you have to, avoid if you can.

One the the better medium sized camps we visited with a campervan. It's a tall pine-forrest based camp with plenty of space. It has a swimming pool on the ground, as well as a not-so-well maintained tennis court, a cosy caffee and a mini market for the essentials. Oh, and the washing machines next to the reception and children's playground right by the pool. The toilets are clean and have hot water. It's not all completely flat, so you might want to look for a flat ground if you're tenting. It's about 5-10 mins (by car) to the Nazare beach, which is very touristy or 10-15 mins to Alcobaca and small town of Valado dos Frades, both of which offer some nice restaurants for dinner, while Alcobaca offers also some sightseeing (e.g. monastery). About 25 EUR/night for 2 persons, campervan + electricity. In fact, we came here again, on the way back north to Porto.

The camp is great in general but it has improvement points. It is very sandy at many parking places so our car got stuck. Then unfortunately it is full of pine caterpillars which gave us all bad rashes. They collect them, but leave them on the floor, which means the toxic caterpillar hair still flies everywhere, causing irritation. On the positive side the pool is nice and they have a baby bath.

Great campsite to visit Nazare. All the usual clean facilities.

The soil is sandy and most places are steep. Difficult for heavy vehicles. I was glad to have an offroader. Except this, the camping ground is fine

Great camping overall, decent prices (4 people with a small campervan we paid 40 euros / night). Pitches come with electricity and water, disposal points are in the camping. They have a pool and a bar. Quite place, would recommend.

Clean accomodation, friendly staff. Some hints though : in the areas where tents are pitched, it would be nice if the needles from the pines would be removed. These puncture the base of a tent and even an airbed. I would also fit the showers and lavatories with shower heads/taps that deliver a smaller flow of water. At this moment there is 1 big ray of water fiercely coming out of the shower head. It would consume less and give a more comfortable shower when a savings shower head would be used. Thanks !

The ground is mostly uneven. Both sandy and pine forest ground. The pool is nice. You get the basics in the mini market, prices are also okay. We went by bike to Nazaré beach, if you are fit the uphill way back to the camping is not overwhelming without ebike.

I would have put 5 stars if there were warnings and prohibit personnal BBQs, it's only pines tree and the soil is covered with pine needle. There should be built BBQ for people to use instead of personnal ones that are next to the ground. There is no prevention for a fire, an accident can easily happens if nothing is done!!

Pretty good camping for tents, a lot of place to settle down. Installations are well maintained, plenty of toilets and showers. It's close to nazare. I took one star off, because of the factory nearby which is noisy in the morning. The location is pretty windy, take warm clothes with you. A lot of activities for children too

big camping with swimmingpool, good showers, nice green camping, trees for shadow, small camping shop, cafe with terrace. In general: some maintenance and organising required. very reasonably priced. steep road leading down to Nazare, 10 minutes by bicycle and back 30 minutes.

The girls at the reception are very helpful and kind. There's a lot of flat places available without sand, and if you get stuck they will help you with a tractor for free. Quiet place to rest. There's a snack bar & market on the campsite so that was nice!

Here now in December. Showers are hot and clean. The site is well tidy and well kept. Nice friendly staff.

  • 4/5 André C. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, large spaces, good services and personnel. The camping is a bit far of Nazaré life (e.g. restaurant) so you need a car to enjoy Nazaré. The bathroom are clean but it deserves some maintenance (e.g. rusted locks).

Not a bad site. But all facilities shut. Long walk to town and beach.

Me and partner camped at this place for 4 days, and everything was great. Conditions, acessibility, location, all great! Superb staff as well.

Great campsite under all the pine trees. Bit of a walk into town but closest you'll get and right by a lovely walk up Monte de São. Toilets were immaculate and staff were very friendly. Not much wifi range but I guess that's the point of camping.

Clean and tidy, welcoming staff, just a bit tired and not enough electricity points

  • 3/5 Solvita V. 1 year ago on Google
Quite ok, but definitely not great. Very hilly, up-and-down pitches, not very even. Lots of sand, a neighbour van got stuck in sand right next to us. Gotta be really careful. During our visit it was super super windy. Otherwise the place is fine.

it's a nice quiet place but 4 because Portugal Completely bans the use of asbestos... So why is the showers roof covered with it? If you concerned with your health, think twice before sleeping next to it because it's a bit crumbling and they covering it with paint... not a good solution! And why aren't the visitors informed about it? Why don't you just replace it?
