Enormous beach. Really beautiful. Fantastic for walks.

Beautifull and calm beach!

Fantastic beach. Did not swim as the waves were very rough and there was no lifeguard to confirm if it was ok. Did ask some locals but they said it's ok with a shrug of the shoulders. Funnily enough no person was swimming that was sun bathing. A nice bar beside the beach with god's prices for drinks.

Beautiful place to visit

Beautiful beach with stunning views. All facilities open - very easy parking and access, two bars/cafes, showers, lifeguards and NO DOGS ALLOWED (HOORAY!!) We visited mid August and there was only a handful of other people there so very peaceful and plenty of space. Waves too big for bathing today and water very cold but this is the Atlantic after all, great for a knee high wade though and to freshen up. We've been to 10 beaches on this trip from the alentejo coast to arrabida and now up to the silver coast and this one is in my top 3 so far... So good that we're going back again tomorrow :)
