Me and my friends arrived at this camping site after a long driving day, unfortunately 30 minutes after check in time. We also didn't find any info regarding any closing time. The gentleman at the entrance refused to let us enter leaving us the only option to sleep on public ground, which is also illegal in Portugal.

Tent pitches are in a sandbox full of thorns, reception works from 9:30 to 17:00, so you can't leave early if you arrived after 17:00. But the worst is if you leave your stuff unattended for a minute it gets stolen. 2nd worst camping I've been to.

I would like if you could put up your tent in a lawn of grass, but it was sand there. And one hour after you put your tent up its everywhere. But they have cafés, stores, fish and meat shops and are well equipped. Nice and friendly staff. I had to leave after a day, but paid for a week in advance and could not get a refund. That was not so nice, but no complains otherwise.

Don't go in this camping! We spent 2 nights there. We got stolen our dishes and hammok, have been surrounded by teenagers completely drunk until 6 am, could not sleep. The ground is super dirty, full of cigarets, plastics, papers... And when we asked for a discount for the receptionists, they told us that we just have to pay and go back to our country. "Take the same road that brought you here and go back to your country". DON'T GO THERE. Go to the camping of Ericiera, 25 minutes away, and worse it !

Worst experience ever. Next to highway so you can hear cars. It is a trailer park. For me it just didn't feel nice. The security was nice enough to let us in late as reception closes 17.00 but took our ID and failed to mention we can't leave before 9.30 and even then the receptionist was 10 min late. Lost 2 hours of our time so don't recommend this place if you just want a place to sleep for one night. For 2 people with a car it was 14 euros in October.

No toilet seats!! None of the toilets in the ladies had toilet seats. Also no soap in the bathroom or hand drying solution. When I brought this up with the staff they didn’t seem to care so doesn’t look like they will be fixing it anytime soon. My worst experience in a Portuguese campsite so far.

For people with tent it is not optimal, only a big place with sand. And when I say sand, I speak about sand like at the beach. No trees, no shadow (only 1/30 has 7 big pine trees) Bathrooms are OK. I was there in august and it wasn't possible to take your car at the camping (safety issues with little children). The beach is in 10 minutes walking distance. Supermarket is really close.

Excellent conditions. The main entrance guards could be a bit more nice...

Price vs quality - to memberships / near beach / cleaning / security / friendship

We phoned and were told there was space available only to drive an hour and be handed a price list to park in the carpark. This was not mentioned on the phone and we are with 2 young children. Pretty unprofessional.
