The food was excellent as always. The service is even better than the food. (Much love for Lavekesh). There is a wide variety of indian foods and all of them are delicious. I'd recommend to take either a vindaloo or a madras curry. Best restaurant in Praia da Areia Branca.

We went there on a Saturday night and had a great time. The stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and had great recommendations for us to accommodate for our vegetarian meals. We are from Germany and they were speaking fluent English and German and well. I’ve been to India and I have to say that the food was really tasty and they were able to make it really spicy which I really loved.

What a wonderful little place, the staff are very polite, and the food is delicious and served beautifully we will definitely be back. Highly recommended

There's lots of dishes to choose so I asked for a recommendation and the master is polite and friendly. The dishes I had was exquisite and flavorful that could taste several different spices but they combined appropriately. Most of the main course is under 10€ and it's surely worth of it. It's one of the best Indian restaurant I had ever try, so far.

We really enjoyed their food and the service was very good. We had the four person appetizer platter. It was excellent but a lot of food. We were warned. It was so good we finished most of our orders anyway. Excellent Naan.

Very happy to have this place near our surfing camp. Open until late when other places are closed, great meal selection even for vegans in our group. The host is a funny charismatic guy who can help you decide on a dish.

Wahnsinnig faires und gute Restaurant. Wir waren 7 Leute und jeder einzelne war mit seinem Gericht mehr als zufrieden. Besonders das Garlic-Naan und die Currys sind gut. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und ging auf alle wünsche ein. NUR ZU EMPFEHLEN !!!!

eine Überraschung! Von außen unscheinbar doch was dahinter, sehr netter, zuvorkommender Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Einziger Punkt waren die relativ wenigen Garnelen in meinem Saag Prawns curry, jedoch zu erwarten. Nur zu empfehlen! Kleiner Nachtrag: bei Verstopfung sehr zu empfehlen hat bei uns allen geholfen

Visited this restaurant to dine in and take out on a few occasions and it never disappoints. The food is so fresh and tasty and made to your desired level of spice. Service is absolutely excellent all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Good pricing too!

Wir waren mit 7 Personen im Restaurant essen und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Bestellung ging schnell und auch das Essen kam zügig. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und preislich fair. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Maharani Indian Restaurant in Praia de Areia Branca never disappoints. The food is very well prepared and the flavors are balanced giving you an authentic taste of India. The staff are very friendly and speak fluently in Portuguese and English. The restaurant offers a dine in and Takeaway menu with reasonable prices and great portions! A must try in Lourinha!

From my own experience, having lived for 2.5 years in Mumbai India. I found the food to be small portions, and poorly flavoured, the meats all precooked and reheated in the sauce. The poppadoms we we given for free at the begining of the meal were stale, the accompanying sources were served in plastic squeeze bottles, the spouts of which were full of dried up leftover from the previous day. The restaurant itself was clean, the staff very polite

Wow! An explosion of flavours in our takeaway! The service was quick (only 15 min waiting), and all the dishes exceeded our expectations. We asked for more spicy versions, and they were a great balance between being flavourful and spicy. Samosas are amazing, thin dough and generous fillings, not greasy at all. We'll definitely return for more!
