I read many reviews and they stated one of the best Portuguese food in the town and I have to agree! Very friendly staff, english speaking and even super busy time you get the attention. Menu is quite simple to ensure you have fresh and local ingredients. Fish, prawns and see food on the menu should be your choice. I had Arroz de Tamboril com Gambaz (=monkfish rice) and it was absolutely delicious! The rice was cooked in sea food broth and the result was plenty of sauce with sea food taste. Great choice of wines, go for Vinho Verde (you get this wine only in Portugal) and it is well paired with fish. I had Quinta de Avelda and it was great, taste like white dry wine. Just be aware the kitchen is open daily from 12-3pm and 7-9pm, even though the opening hours are 12-10pm. This opening time is very common for most of the restaurant in Ericeira, make sure you plan your visit in advance. Could be very busy so reservation is useful. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tik-Tak, a seafood restaurant in Ericeira, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, with attentive and efficient staff who provided great and fast service. One notable advantage was that reservations were not required for a weekday lunch, making it convenient and accessible. The standout feature of this restaurant was the delicious white sangria. It was truly awesome, perfectly refreshing and complementing the seafood dishes wonderfully. Speaking of the food, the quality was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend trying the Ameijoas Bulhao Pato and the Pasteis de Bacalhao. These dishes were simply outstanding and could easily be considered the best food I have ever tasted in my life. The ameijoas offered a mouthwatering sauce that was so delectable, I couldn't resist ordering extra bread to dip and savor every last drop. Overall, this seafood restaurant in Ericeira exceeded my expectations. The combination of great and fast service, the fantastic white sangria and delicious food made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and indulging in their culinary delights.

We had a 3 course meal for a family of 4, bill came in at around €100 with wine. Food was good, service attentive and friendly despite the place being very busy. The kids really enjoyed their food and their desserts were apparently excellent. All round a good experience at a reasonable price. Typical Portuguese menu, the only place I have ever seen fillet steak on the kids menu.

Had a great experience here with a group of friends. Half of the party are vegetarian, the choices were somewhat limited but there was at least one item for each course, and every vegetarian dish was outstanding. The restaurant was filled with locals and tourist. Great service, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and while it had a nice ambiance, I found the menu to be quite simple with options that didn't particularly stand out as unique to Ericeira or Portugal. There are better traditional options available in the area. The food quality was average, but the prices were a bit high in comparison. Unfortunately, the dessert selection was lacking, offering mainstream choices instead of the delightful Portuguese traditional sweets I had hoped for. Overall, it's a decent restaurant, but it doesn't distinguish itself from other average dining establishments in the area.

This place was horrible. I went last week and sat outside and our server wouldn’t even give us 10 seconds of his time and when he did, he was short and rude to us for no reason. I ordered the fillet steak medium rare and it came well done with a super gross salty cream sauce all over the plate, the saltiest potato’s I’ve ever tasted, and overcooked steamed vegetables that were very unappetizing. I couldn’t even eat anything on my plate and had to go elsewhere for dinner. Not sure why this place gets a good rating.

I’ve never left without paying for a meal before but unfortunately we had a terrible experience here and left without eating any of our meals. The food took over an hour to arrive, and was terrible. The cod was super fishy small flakes, while the ribeye steak was several pieces of thin off cuts, some cooked through and some rare due to the varying thickness. The sides were almost cold and very basic. We told the staff we wouldn’t eat the meal and wanted to leave, offering to pay for the drinks. They were very kind and understood our comments, they gave us the drinks as an apology for the bad experience. If the kitchen got new chefs this could be a nice play to spend the evening.

One of the of the best places in town if youre looking for a casual diner. Good variety on the menu, good quality, good prices and friendly staff. One of the better places I visited while I was in Ericeira.

delicious octopus rice & fish fillets! Nice wine, olives, bred… friendly & quick service. No dogs allowed, but they have outdoor tables so your furry friend can join you. :)

BEWARE! This place may try to scam you. We ordered 2 beers, 1 bread and 1 fish special. They delivered 2 fish specials and we told the waiter we only ordered 1 and the waiter responded it’s a “misunderstanding”. We received the bill for 2 full priced fish specials and when we asked the waiter to remove the extra fish special from the bill or give a discount for the “misunderstanding” he refused. Additionally, the fish special was double the price of any other fish on the menu despite it being a rather cheap fish. We paid the bill but informed the waiter we would be making a review to warn other tourists.

Entrecot is chewy and tad hard, but the monkfish rice is good!

Very famous restaurant in Ericeira. It is SO FAMOUS that I never managed to get a table or a reservation. Also was treated poorly when asking. During winter however they seem quite desperate to fill the tables up. That is the issue with places that prioritize tourists over their own community.

Was wanting to try this restaurant for awhile after living here for the past 2 years. I always walk past it and it is always busy. It has a nice ambiance and situated in a busy alley. The service was friendly and food came in a timely fashion. The food we had lacked flavor. The Bitoque didn’t have the garlicky olive oil flavor that I’m accustomed to at other Portuguese restaurants. The grilled octopus was cooked pretty well but again it was very bland. I wanted to like this place but the food lacked flavor.

Best food we’ve had in Ericeira! We had the octopus and it was incredible. Would highly recommend! We were two people and had a bottle of wine, amazing value for money!

Highly priced average food. All the food we ordered was missing something in taste. Probably seasoning wasn’t enough. It was also quite oily. We ordered baked cod, shrimps and mushrooms. Maybe other options are better. I wasn’t amazed idk

Very nice staff, but my food was severely overcooked and the shrimp weren't deveined. As a chef student this makes me very sad to see such unprofessionalism.

I called to make reservations but it was too close to 1930 which is the latest they take reservations but you can walk in. I didn’t have any problems coming in at 2000 and getting a seat but if you come in after that maybe 2030 to 2100 it was really packed by then. The food was amazing I had delicious butter prawns for an appetizer and a Black Angus steak and they both were delicious. For dessert the gelato was perfect. The red sangria held me over throughout the night. Great atmosphere and service was great.

Service is superb! I ate here alone and each gentleman that waited on me was super kind, smiley and the one gave me a solid thumbs up from across the room to make sure I was going okay and that made me smile. I ordered the chicken with fries and salad. Chicken was done perfectly! Everything tasted amazing and was reasonably priced. Would 100% come back again to try something new.

The bread and butter is absolutely amazing. The service is friendly and quick and your food arrives in no time. All the food is pretty average but nevertheless it is good. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant, it is a really nice one considering the amazing ambience.

Amazing food, great team who found a table for us in less than 2 min without the reservation on Easter Sunday. Food was 6stars really great value for what you get. Relaxed atmosphere with good music . Will come again for sure

Incredible dining experience from a service, food and, atmosphere perspective. It is a very popular but causal place with first class seafood and sangria. The chocolates mousse is very good as well. I recommend making reservations if possible. They accept cash and cards.

Very very average food for an expensive price. The steak was tasty, but it was cut into very small strips and cost 20 euro for about 100g. The vegetarian meal was only okay and didnt seem very fresh. Service was fine, noting more nothing less.. The sangria was awful. Would advise you to check out other places around the town instead.

We had dinner and got a table outside without reservation. I would recommend to reserve upfront though if you prefer sitting inside. There were many vegetarian options and the cod of my bf was super fresh and delicious. The sautéed mushrooms and the Aubergine salad were deliciousss. For mains I had the lentil bolognese ( veggie) and the John Dory filets which we enjoyed a lot. Fast service and friendly staff as well.
