Solar Da Vila is an amazing restaurant with very reasonable prices and large portions of food be it meat or fish. Of course this would mean nothing if the quality of the food were not as good as it is. The portions known as 1/2 dose are more than enough for 1 person and cost around €6.50 whilst a full dose will serve 2 without problem. They also have a children's menu and vegetarian options. Daily menus are available so be sure to ask what the specials are for the day. The restaurant can get quite busy so you may have to wait to be seated but you can always purchase to take away. Parking is available and it is children friendly. The staff seemed to take pride in making sure that everything was fine and to our liking. If you get the chance I recommend you eat here as I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Traditional Portuguese cuisine at good value prices. Great little restaurant with plenty of locals getting takeaway. Ate here 2 nights of our 3 night stay. Had a white bean and seafood stew one night and sardines the following night. Plenty of meat and seafood options available. Well worth a visit

Great food go there when on vacation. It's a tradition now to eat there with family. A bit small so it gets pretty crowded and you might have to wait for a table.

Good Service and that´s about all you can say about this place. Have no idea why people rate this so high because the kitchen and its food is the most embarrassing and disgusting I had in all the years I am living in Portugal. First of all had to wait about 40 minutes for our starters and then got a what I only describe as a bowl of fat, choco frito without taste and served with a sauce tasting like meat. Then the main courses meat over cooked, my wife got some dry meat with some sauce dumped over it and last but not least a francesinha that was realy a disaster, 2 slices of not toasted bread with all cold ingredients and a sauce which tasted like it came straight out of a pack. Cheap, yes very cheap, just like the taste. Feel bad for the waiters because they are realy doing their best and are doing a pretty good job. Maybe for the owner an idea to charge a little more and take on some real cooks!!! By the way, rated this one star and to be honest even this is much to much! Would realy stay away from this place!

Great place, good food !

This is the best local restaurant for me! Food is veeeery delicious, service is fast, stuff is friendly and the prices are just impossible to beat! They do the best Bacalhau com natas I’ve ever tried! Lately this is the only restaurant with the Portuguese cuisine I go to, because well… the have everything just great! Always happy to go there with a friend! Muito obrigada!!!

We've been walking past for a couple of weeks, having just moved to Lourinhã, and finally stopped in for lunch today. Very good local restaurant with wonderful food at reasonable prices. We were lucky to get a table before what looked like the lunchtime rush, we can see why it's popular; we'll definitely be back often.
