June 2022: Spectacular experience! The vineyards and facilities were stunning. The hosts were wonderful and made me feel right at home, my stay was very relaxing. Rita’s Lusitanos are gorgeous, responsive, kind and patient, these horses are really special, and perfect specimens of top quality breeding, really a treat to ride. Ricardo and Andre are world class riders and fantastic trainers- they guided me through exercises I had never done before like half-pass, pirouette, and passage. I also took a few working equitation lessons which I enjoyed immensely! The horses are so well trained if you cue correctly, they give immediately, I was really able to improve my training immensely during this intensive dressage stay (5days) 💖 In between lessons I enjoyed watching other riders train, lounged in the pool, walked through the vineyards and I got an incredible massage from Carlos. I also enjoyed several bottles of very good wine made right on the property- really the experience was top notch and an absolute dream I really learned a lot and was very sad to leave such a heavenly place! I will definitely come back (every year if possible!!)

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying with Quinta do Rol, a family vineyard estate and equestrian centre. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough; my wife, a very competent accomplished rider, was delighted with the horses she got to ride throughout our stay, along with the standard of the instructors. As a none rider, I was a little concerned that there would be enough to entertain me. However, I need not have worried as there were plenty of fantastic places to visit and some superb beaches close by. The staff were all accommodating, and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. We would not hesitate to go back. A and E visited 10th-15th Oct 2021

Spent 4 days and 3 nights at this amazing place. It has it all. Great horses. Great instruct ors. Incredible facilities. Super friendly staff and good food! I took 5 riding lessons here in November 2022, so this is a long overdue review. I cannot recommend Quinta do Rol highly enough! My experiences there were spectacular!! The horses are gorgeous, well cared for, and highly trained. The facilities are beautiful, spacious, and spotless. I learned so much from Miguel and João who were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind teachers. I came away feeling like I accomplished something after every ride and I had so much fun! I cannot wait to go back when I’m in Portugal later this year!!
