Ok stay. Staff was nice, apartments were a bit old, however we visited 5 year ago and they are better now. Just be careful when you book as Sea View, and Sea view/river view are different. We stayed in a room facing the back of the restaurant and the parking lot, when i book i asked for a sea view room, and they booked me a Sea view/river view without explaining the difference, we stayed in a room facing the back of the restaurant and a parking lot, we could smell the garbage of the restaurant and it was very noisy in the morning because of the cars, just be careful when you book

Estadia em familia carnaval 2013 , excelente localização e almoço muito bom arroz de marisco e lombinho porco na telha ,vamos repetir "If you are looking to spend your holiday like average Portuguese would do, then there is no better place for you. These are super apartments with friendly and helpful owners and staff. Apartments were cleaned, towels changed and beds made every day. Great location right by the stunning Praia Azul beach. Very good value restaurant attached. There is free WiFi with a login that you only need to enter once. All staff are very attentive and helpful (but stay completely out of your way as is standard in Portugal). Like most places in Portugal it is easy to communicate in English as there is always someone around who speaks fluently. The sea can change between calm and heavy surf within a few hours, depending on tides and weather and we almost always saw surfers or bodyboarders in the water, plus kite surfers on days with strong wind. There is a school for water sports in walking distance (Foz) and just recently all new rental bicycles (Agostinhos) were added. You will want a rental car to explore the area and you will find lots of places within an hours drive, from world heritage in Sintra or the palace in Mafra, via untarnished local Portguese sights in central Portugal to Buddha Eden in Bombarral which is completely out of character. During our stay in August there never was a need for air conditioning but a few kilometres away from the beach it would get so hot that the air conditioning in the car was reaching its limits (up to 40 degrees Celsius). There were exceptionally few mosquitos for the time of the year (we didn't notice the first one until after a week). Thoroughly recommended and hope to stay here again one day. Cinco Estrelas!"
