Gundi house is now my home. After spending almost 2 months in Ericeira staying in different hostels, I can say with certainty that this is where I will always come back. Rodrigo, the owner, is a kind, polite and never intrusive person. Rafaela, the volunteer is a very sweet and helpful girl. The location is great because it’s in a quiet neighborhood and not far from two beaches (Coxos and San Lorenço). The view from the balcony is beautiful. Rodrigo is a very good surf and skateboard instructor so take the opportunity to take lessons with him and have fun. See you soon Gundi House 🙏🏼

Everything 10/10. Clean rooms. Full service on shared rooms (blackout, space to put personal staff, privacy). Breakfast is awesome and super complete. Rodrigo, the owner, is super cool and nice person. The location is okay, super close to the beach, not in the center but enough close to the villa to go by wall. Perfect

Rodrigo, the host, is super atencious and helpful. delicious breakfast, prepared with care. the view from the house is beautiful, and it is very close to the beaches. Great experience last week! A cozy atmosphere, everything new and clean! A warm welcome by the hosts, excellent breakfast and relaxing outdoor spaces where to enjoy a wonderful view of the bay and the sunset. Very well located, close to the beach, surf spots and restaurants. We'll go back soon!

Nice, confortable and relaxing house. Always cleaned. The breakfast is rich and delicious and the owner was always kind and available for our needs. When we arrived he gave us a beauty case with shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and many other staff. The house is close to some surf spot, in particular to ribeira d'ilhas (3 min by car), one of the best spot for all kind of surfers. There is space for skateing and for leaving wetsuits and boards.

Rodrigo and his family are super nice and very helpfull. The house Is well located and has everything you need. You can enjoy a wonderful sunset from the terrace. You can easily reach by foot Coxos and Sao Lourenco surf spots. Breakfast is really amazing and the barbecue evenings made us feel like a big family. We had a great time and would defenitely come back again. Highly recommended stay!

Gundi House was just the perfect place to stay for my birthday weekend. It was our first time in Ericeira and Rodrigo’s place felt so warm and comfortable. The room was perfect and the breakfast every morning was such a delight!

Gundi house is the best place I stayed in Portugal. It’s a beautiful house where you feel like at home, very clean and spacious. There are several beaches walking distance and you get the best sunset from the terrace. Rodrigo, the host, is super attentive and kind. If you want to surf, he’s also a great surf instructor. I worked remotely from there and it’s totally digital nomads friendly. During my stay I never got bored: barbecues, yoga, parties in town and also quality time for myself. I’ll def come back! Thank you for everything Rodrigo!!!

My first hostel experience and it was such a wonderful one! Met so many amazing people - we stayed in and went out like a family. The house is spacious, super clean and the sunset view on the patio is unbelievable. Will be back!!

Gundi house was my home for 3 weeks. From the first moment I arrived I felt at home and every day more and more. It’s a nice house, very clean and spacious with a nice terrace where I admired several ocean view sunsets. Very well located, close to the beach, surf spots and restaurants; it’s in a quiet neighborhood. Rodrigo, the host and Rafaela, the volunteer are great person..kind, polite, helpful and never intrusive. Rodrigo is also a great surf and skateboard instructor, so take the opportunity to take lessons with him; you won’t regret it and you’ll have fun. With him, in a few hours, I learned to surf. In these weeks I’ve never been bored; surfing, yoga, nights out on the town, barbecue at home with other guests, hiking. Gundi House is like your home but next to some of the best waves in Europe. Rodrigo is a fantastic host and helps creating the beautiful chill friendly vibe that is so great at Gundi House. It was my first time in portugal, and I arrived hoping to surf a little bit and catch some sun, but I left after week surfed out and with a bunch of great new friends. The breakfast is something I’m gonna miss for quite some time, also the pastas at 1 am after going disco dancing with all the other guys from the house. All in all it has been an unforgettable week and I can’t wait to come back. 🤙🏼🏄🏼‍♂️
