I
was
in
disbelief
of
how
poorly
were
we
treated
and
their
terrible
customer
service.
We
arrived
to
the
hotel
and
were
given
the
room
key.
A
very
old
and
rusted
key,
which
broke
immediately
after
I
tried
to
open
the
room.
I
went
down
and
explained
the
lady
at
the
reception
what
happened
and
asked
for
a
second
key.
Her
reaction
wasn't
friendly
but
she
called
someone
to
ask
for
it.
They
discussed
for
a
few
minutes,
and
then
I
was
told
I
had
to
pay
for
a
new
key
because
we
had
broken
it.
I
politely
said
I
didn't
think
it
was
fair
for
us
to
pay
considering
we
got
a
key
in
bad
shape
and
that
it
broke
as
soon
as
we
attempted
to
open
the
door.
The
lady
came
back
to
the
phone
and
argued
in
Portuguese
about
what
we
have
allegedly
done.
(I
understand
Portuguese,
and
their
way
of
referring
to
us,
was
not
polite
at
all).
Few
minutes
later
I
was
FORCED
to
speak
with
the
owner
over
the
phone,
who
was
yelling
at
me
and
accusing
us
of
damaging
his
property,
he
didn't
let
me
speak
and
to
be
honest
I
thought
the
conversation
was
rather
unnecessary.
In
frustration
I
agreed
to
pay
for
the
key,
and
was
charged
2€.
(Can
not
yet
understand,
why
to
mistreat,
yell
and
lose
a
customer
for
such
a
low
value?
was
it
worth
it?)
An
hour
later
we
had
a
guest
waiting
at
the
lobby.
At
this
point
at
the
reception
there
was
a
middle
age
man
who
spoke
no
other
language
but
Portuguese.
He
rudely
interrogated
our
guest
about
why
was
she
there,
but
they
had
no
common
language.
When
we
met
her
at
the
lobby,
he
proceeded
to
continue
his
interrogation
with
us,
asking
if
we
were
guests
and
room
number,
which
I
sadly
didn't
remember.
I
tried
to
ignore
this,
but
when
we
were
back
the
man
came
to
us
and
reminded
the
room
number
and
said
something
on
the
lines
that
we
should
be
more
respectful,
and
how
respect
is
an
important
thing
in
life.
