Great country house that I highly recommend. Where to start from? Well, first of all the location, quiet and beautiful, just 30 minutes from Obidos. If you can try to stay at least 2 nights, you can use the first day to see the countryside and the second one to visit Obidos. The house is an old rural building beautifully refurbishes which blends perfectly with the landscape. Rooms are large and clean. Downstairs you have a nice living room and a kitchen. The lady managing the property is doing everything and I don’t even know how she does it. She cleans, cooks, does the laundry, manages the reception etc... Really amazing. My only suggestion is to offer more options for breakfast.

Stayed here 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience with the couple who were managing the property, at the time. Excellent hosts, who served us an amazing dinner with tons of wine for an excellent price. The property is an old Hacienda, with farmland and old orchards all around. We loved our stay here.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting run by a lovely, warm family! Diogo and his wife could not have been nicer and more accommodating during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and the food was great. There are great walking trails from your doorstep. We look forward to our next get-away at Casal da Serrana.
