Hottest hostel in Europe. Hands down. Filled to the brim with hunnies. Walk in, hunny at reception. Go to the kitchen, hunny cookin toast. Go to the pool, hunnies havin a dip. Look left, hunny. Look right, hunny. Those working there were the best hunnies. Flo, Milou, Melina, Simone? Hunny, hunny, hunny, hunny. If you’re in Portugal and want to be drowned in hunnies, be sure to check this place out ✌🏻

Surely one of the best accommodations I've been to, not only because of the fancy style and the incredible amount of amenities and games (they really have everything) but especially for the people working here: always helpful and lovely, they really twisted our vacation with their pro tips and good vibes. Finally, the view of the ocean at sunset is astonishing (and gets better with their 2x1 on drinks offer 😁)

Absolutely loved my stay here all the staff were super friendly and very helpful really didn't want to leave and extended my stay twice will definitely be back again. Want to make a special mention to Andre, Bella, Jacinta and Daniel for being awesome people and making my stay very memorable along with the rest of the staff and volunteers. I would say this is the best hostel I've ever stayed at

Worst breakfast ever! Not for a 3 start hostel. No lift and not weelchair friendly. However the room was clean. I don’t recommend this place for families or solo travelers over 30. This is a place for very young people. I come from the hospitality industry, my family runned hostels and restaurants in Barcelona and I have been working around the world in different restaurants and hotels from all levels and even with Covid 19 you can offer better breakfast options than you did. Honestly breakfast makes a big impact on guests and their experience, it would have change totally my review if breakfast would have been better: a canned juice, a piece of bread with Nutella or bad jam ( not even toast cause you don’t have a toaster) and a Cereal bar are not break fast options, better don’t serve breakfast at all)

The hostel was a complete chaos - noone would respect the rules and the staff was not doing anything to educate the guests. in the evening during the quiet hours a group of people were having fun in the kitchen and their conversations were heard in all the rooms. The doors were constantly noisily slammed. The room was good and clean but the bathroom of the room was dirty and the shower was broken. On top of everything- they charged us twice for the city tax because they did not add the details in their system the first time.

One of the nicest hostels at which i have stayed in my lifetime. I have to give shout-out to super amazing staff especially to Rui, Susana, Marcelo, André, Laura, João, Angélica who had made my stay even better. The biggest advantage of course are lovely dorms with breathtaking views 🥺

My experience in WOT Ericeira Surf Hostel was far from good. From the lack of breakfast options to the dirty and unkempt rooms, this hostel was an overall disappointment. Breakfast service was minimal and usually ran out by 9:30am. Even if you paid for breakfast, you still had to do the dishes yourself. The rooms were not cleaned properly and dirt was pushed under the rugs, I've been in a private room, but I imagine the dorms are even worse... The staff seemed to be in vacation mode and not very helpful. To top it off, the hostel is overpriced compared to other similar hostels that provide better services.

Excellent hostel. You can tell it is a new place, carefully designed to be a hostel. Great rooms, beautifully arranged, lots of cool stuff in the common area and the kindest staff members! Very comfortable for a good couple days!

Absolutly perfect! Rui, Susana, Marcelo, André, Laura, João, Angélica you are supehumen! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the hostel itself with the most wonderful sunset. Please, everyone, do yourself a favor and visit them! This place is a cure for depression and absolute magic!Untill the next time guy, take care and continue to spread joy!

I canceled my reservation 5 days in prior to my visit, but they felt it necessary to charge a total amount of 80€ anyway. They have debited this amount three months after cancellation. I can therefore hardly imagine that this is a super cozy hostel where it is really about the "people". But try it out!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Amazing common areas with swiming pool , terrace and a SKATE RAMP ! They have some great sea life GRAFFITI pieces around and the pool table in the bar area. The STAFF is very proffesinal. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE !!!

Great hostel, lovely staff, always something going on to meet new people as a solo traveller!! Definitely recommend.

This is a cool budget hostel - which would be fine at budget prices - but we paid €150 per night for a private room and there is no way it was worth this. We expected a lot more at this price. Other hostels offer a lot more for less in Ericeira (like Rapture). The food at the hostel also wasn’t good and was unreliable on timings - so you do need to do your own thing. Again that’s fine at normal hostel prices but not for what we paid!

A dope, large surf hostel where you meet a lot of cool people. I’ve made a lot of great connections just by hanging out in the common areas. The bar closes at 10pm and while there might be someone hanging out till 11pm or so, it goes quiet afterwards. I’ve read negative reviews before booking but apparently, the hostel has really improved since then. The staff and volunteers are doing a great job. Will definitely return. Cheers!

Had an amazing time at WOT surf hostel! The facilities are great, the staff and people are super nice and the location is perfect, it has the best view of the sunsets. The only thing I would mention is that the wifi doesn't reach a lot of spots in the hostel, also didn't have any wifi in my bunk. The rest was all lovely, would definitely recommend staying here as a solo traveller

Rooms were fine but sheets scratchy, not cleaned often obviously because they have only volunteers cleaning rather than actual cleaners Common spaces were amazing with the pool and pool table and ping pong table, heaps of places to hang out and really easy to meet people Social events are good but the bar should stay open till 11 surely? 15 minutes or so to town walking but it's not too bad Could use a table with some chairs with backs for people who work / somewhere to go to be in the quiet (the outside back area has no internet connection)

Nice place to stay in Ericeira when you want to get in touch with others. Rooms were clean and quite modern. One downside was the lack of coat hangers, wet towels almost can't be hanged somewhere. Also there are no towels included (can be rented for 2 euros). The lobby is nice and large with a glass front towards the sea which is pretty nice. The sofas and the large TV also accommodated to a very relaxed stay when it gets darker outside. The kitchen was held very clean by the staff but also almost every guest was keen to clean all their dishes after eating. One small downside was the complete lack of pans which was a bit stressful and the bit loose control of the fridge (food was there open for days) The outside was also very nice with a pool, table tennis, volleyball field, nice seating and even a surf skate area. Staff was quite nice and helped with every question you might had. The program they have during the days mostly at the evening sound nice but are mostly executed a bit poorly (maybe due to the lack of interest sometimes to be fair) Surf Lessons can be booked directly at the reception as they have a cooperation with a local surf school (30 euros for either the whole day board and wetsuit or a lesson for 2h incl. board and wetsuit. Notice: if you want to book a board and wetsuit for longer than 2 days, do it directly at the Surfshop Na Onda at Foz do Lizandro as they have a special offer where 5 days only cost 70 euros for the set. Overall a good experience, would recommend going there.

Very badly maintained breakfast. Rooms nice but noisy and generally not worth the relatively high rates for a hostel. Staff at the reception helpful and friendly

Amazing hostel! Great facilities, people, atmosphere! Loved every minute. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!

It was really nice to stay in the hostel for nearly a week. Had a lot of fun because the staff and all the people in the hostel had a good vibe together and mostly we' ve been together at day at the beaches and also at night in ericeira. The stuff takes you in a WhatsApp group for information sharing. For example barhopping or skatelessons or food travel. Had a really good time, we're planning to come again. Cu soon

I had the greatest stay on my first time in Ericeira thanks to this amazing hostel! Great terrace with great views, the rooms were very comfy and clean. Also the staff was super friendly and nice, they helped me with anything I needed. Special shout-out to Laura and André!

Worst accomodation I've been to my entire life, and I've been to many surf hostels before even in third world countries. Calling it a 3 star hotel is a disgrace! Not even close! My friend and I stayed in the private double room and all I can say that if you care about your health dont book there and save your money. No health or cleaniness measures taken at all; Indoor odors, and bad smell of urine inside the room. Sheets have red stains, towels are dirty. Cats climb up the terraces and enter the rooms, and you can't close the windows since there is no a/c. Also no hot showers. Indifferent staff who don't care at all, they excused the dirty sheets as "laundry problems"! The double private room was so bad and dirty we checked out after 1 night even though we paid for two. We just wanted to get the hell out of there and continue our trip in Portugal. They are pricey scammers. Don't fall in this trap with the nice photos. If you care about your health and time, avoid it at all costs.

Hostel is pretty but way to expensive for what it is worth. I paid about 50 euros per night for a dorm. Breakfast was ok but for 50 euros I would expect a looot more (at least some eggs). They just have bread and cereal. Also the staff is very rude and grumpy al the time. Volunteers are super nice but are not treated right by the paid staff, and as a guest in the hostel you could really notice the tension in the air all the time. They don’t communicate and are always in discussion. A volunteer got kicked out without a proper warning. I think the management is just off and I do not support this way of working. So I do not recommend staying at this hostel. When I was telling my bad experiences to the reception he just cut me off and didn’t believe me. Nice way of accepting feedback, huh? Thanks anyways for the amazing volunteers, they made the horrible experience a lot better.

First time in Ericeira for the weekend (shame for a Portuguese woman) and definitely chose the best hostel to stay at! Only one night but loved the place and the vibe so much that I could have stayed there the whole week. The staff is incredible and the cost/conditions ratio is very good! When I get to visit Ericeira again I will definitely stay at aktion again (maybe this summer to sunbath and enjoy the pool) 😎🌞 thanks a lot to everyone that shared this weekend with me!!

would appreciate a warmer welcome from the stuff, as it was the first place i have landed in ericiera. breakfast is as i expected. if u into surfing, you should go to a surfing camp rather than an out of town hostel, where u can better hook up with other surfers.

Love this place, have been back 3 or 4 times. Great facilities and a great view. Nice and chilled. Always easy to meet nice people so don't worry if travelling alone.

Stay at their Garden room for 2 weeks. Loved the view. Amazing war team. Nice facilities. I didn't mind up hill walking so location was perfect for me. For going out to town as well (4 Euro uber ride).

Super clean, friendly staff and only 6 minutes by car to the closest surf beach. Absolutely recommendable!

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the pool is the perfect place to chill after a surf while watching the sun go down.

Amazing place, many things to do and an outstanding crew to support you on your stay! Loved it and we will be back as soon as I can

There are no eggs for the breakfast, which is fine - but you’re not allowed to make breakfast yourself in the morning. That does not make sense to me. In the evenings is quite loud and noisy. The surf school which they are cooperating with is rather unorganised and if you surfed before not really worth your money.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The staff was super friendly and made me feel like at home. They also have a very good co-working area in case you need to work during the day. I would recommend it to everyone, it was the best hostel I have ever been at!
