great location, very comfortable and clean BUT as a lodge in nature it is very disappointing that there was NO recycling bins in the kitchen, coffee was made from capsules that went on the regular trash, tap water tasted terrible - no filter available. easy simple measures could improve considerably the impact of this place - that is suppose to respect the environment.

Terra Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. We held my daughter’s wedding there in Oct 2023. It was a fun, laid-back, picturesque, and intimate location and everything turned out perfectly. Tanita was very helpful in ensuring that we had everything that we needed…checking in with us multiple times. She also acquired a beautiful full-length mirror that was so helpful with getting ready and made for some great photos. It was made to fit with the amazing decor of the lodge. We used the covered area for the ceremony. We had two wonderful dinners on the porch area by the kitchen (used True taste for catering). Paula did an amazing job preparing breakfast for us each morning….wish I had some more of those pastel da natas right now. Our photographers (Mitt photography) had a photographer’s dream with the beautiful colors, foliage, and all the interesting decor (old radio, old luggage, exposed beams, etc) that they could include in the pictures. We had an unbelievable time in the Terra Lodge. Amadeo built a beautiful and calm place. Every piece of the lodge is unique and you have A LOT of space. We stayed 10 days and will certainly come back again =)

Great escape from the busy live. It's a place surrounded by beautiful nature, the place to be for a calm relaxing weekend. Ribeira d'ilhas one of the best beaches in the area is just at 5 mins ride away. The rooms are quite stylish - modern rural & industrial style. Definitely recommend for at least a couple of days, either for a weekend or more.
