Old (often out of work) facilities. The management is not client-oriented at all. They got your money and after that just don’t care. I suggest everyone stay away from Holmes Place clubs.

This Holmes Place needs some serious renovation. The gym has a lot of old and outdated equipment. Some of them are damaged or have been broken since I started going to the gym a couple months ago. In the showers there is mould all over the roofs and the walls. The steam room is okay, but the sauna is falling apart. There are holes in the seats and the roof looks like it is going to collapse. The walls close to the jacuzzi are also cracked and need to be fixed. Overall, the whole establishment needs to be renovated. The cleanliness of certain parts such as the steam room and the showers also needs to be improved. At least the staff is nice. I have been to other Holmes Place gyms and I can certainly say that this is the worst one in terms of equipment and infrastructure.

Gym needs repairs. Pool stairs with serious rust, Steam bath with broken lights, or replaced by strong bulb. Kitchen looks messy... just looking to it from the service window. Holmes was premium, now ( below) average. Strong investment needed.

Slow feedback after started which you need to go after them to get. Also confusing information saying 3 years old ballet class on the website but in reality is 4. Not mentioning their other excuse for not adding my daughter to ballet was "class is full" then when she got there were 3 kids, so lie. Showers with black mold, horrible water flow and super hot/super cold alternation without touch.

Unfortunately the pool is not suitable for training. The water temperature reached over 30 degrees. The air temperature is over 35. The heart is on the verge of stopping.

Horrible experience. All the material is deteriorated and outdated. The overcrowded classes. Teachers don't correct you even if they see you doing something very bad for your body.

The good thing about this gym is the relative quietness combined with the very nice view of sintra! Most Holmes Places are underground but this one is exceptional in that sense. As for the equipment, its getting outdated and requiring a lot of maintenance. Some Cardio equipment has the TV channels very grainy. The classes are usually very fun and top notch ! The dressing room is also very cozy, private and with a sauna.

It's just ok, like many other gyms no more no less, except for the higher price you have to pay to have access to their "torture machines"! 😝

It baffles me how one is expected to sign up for a gym without experiencing a trial first — a common practice in most fitness centers. Regrettably, my initial encounter at Homes Place Gym fell short of expectations; I was denied the opportunity for a trial, marking an unfortunate first impression. However, every cloud has a silver lining — the staff at the Cascais location were a breath of fresh air. Their accommodating and pleasant demeanor has convinced me to join their branch. It’s my hope that the management addresses these inconsistencies and ensures a uniformly welcoming approach across all locations.

We received a dreadful treatment by the commercial Rita Correia- when we said we would like to use the facilities for one day and suscribe to the one day offer they had promoted on their online website. She refused admission in a very tough and unpolite way. Our understanding was that we “looked like travellers” a bit different to their “standard clients” All good. It only reflects very poor standards and little average worldwide education. Im really sorry there is still so old fashioned places in the world. The website says “without commitment “.
