Nice to visit but not accessible to everyone... Although I am sorry for that fact, I don't believe in changing and building new things onto old, to give everyone the chance to visit. In the old days it was like that. And myself although I can move there are places in the world I can never visit for different reasons and I don't feel discriminated . We cannot do everything just because others can... The place is just an old castle with history behind it... If one is used to travel in Europe the real catch is its history because fotos can show its surroundings very well...and there are plenty similar in the country...

Apesar de muito danificada, esta fortificação é das poucas quase única no mundo. A sua arquitetura específica, adveio dum desenho de Leonardo Da Vinci. Uma fortaleza estratégica que protegeu a cidade Torriense durante anos, e apenas uma catástrofe natural deitou por terra o Palácio do Alcaide. Mas, destacou-se por dinastias. Hoje bem arranjado, jardins bonitos e com uma nova dinâmica turística. Têm uma torre com uma vista panorâmica sobre a cidade de Torres Vedras e das laterais sobre toda a sua volta.
