The beach is OK.. Beautiful but very small river shore for resting. It has lifeguard protection and a nice bar for drinks and (some) snacks. Water is clean, and it has parking spaces. No pets are allowed.

Good facilities, both grass and sand spots for sunbathing. Safe for children and not too crowded. Two parking lots at a good walking distance from the beach. A very enjoyable place to spend an afternoon

Just go, it doesn't require to buy tickets. Remember to take food and water with you as there is no store around for it, but there is super infrastructure for toilets, sits and a good atmosphere. 25 min from Coimbra - : )

It is magical! Perfect for families. With a bar and also a public bathroom. Many places to sit for a picnic. Benches and tables. Sand and grass.

The river beach is astonishing, but requires you to wear confortable water shoes as the underwater ground is made of moving stones. Can't wait to come back.

This is a lovely spot to visit! A really lush alternative to going to a beach. So lovely seeing families splashing around, a grassy area for a picnics and really clean nice toilet facilities. The water felt clean and safe. Only dropped a star as the cafe was closed and a food truck was cash only… so take cash and a picnic! A great way to spend a day with kids :)

One of the best river beaches close to Coimbra it has all for a great escapade on the hottest days. Simply idilic scenery, calm, family prone place, great surroundings and the water is fresh and clean. Really well kept by the local council.

Worth a visit even on a cold Winter morning.

Excellent place to spend some hours on a hot summer day. You can swim on clear waters. You can take sunbathing on the grass. You can take a drink in the bar. Also easy to park the car.
