Excellent restaurant! This restaurant in Ericeira is the best place to have fresh & delicious grilled fish. Highly recommended. Located in the center of Ericeira, outside and inside seating, with huge variety of fresh fish and seafood options, the most tasteful potatoes and great wine! On top of everything, the staff and the owner are so friendly, attentive, always make you feel like you are family! This is the place to enjoy fantastic local dinner in lovely Portuguese atmosphere! Highly recommended.

Rude owner!!! choked on a fish bone and ate the bread as a way to get rid of the fish bone and got charged for it anyways. Below average food. Just freshly grilled. Way overpriced fish and doesn’t take credit card!!! Who uses cash these days!!!

Choose the fish you like in the kitchen and get it grilled to perfection. This is a restaurant the locals choose. Way cheaper than the overpriced fancy fish restaurants at the waterfront. It's located next to the market. Service is friendly. Can only recommend going there!

If you are looking for a great fish restaurant, look no further. During our stay in Ericeira, we went to this restaurant three times and every single time was amazing. If you don't know much about fish, it's no problem. The staff will take you to the kitchen, show you the fish and explain everything. Better reserve a table though!

Had an amazing lunch here with fresh caught snapper the prior night. The clams were also really delicious. Miguel was so helpful and welcoming, he brought us to see the fish first before we made our selection. Reasonable prices as well!

Fantastic experience! Miguel is a real pro. He sat us at a nice table, showed us the spread of fish that were freshly caught the night before, and walked us through his favourite items. Most delicious red snapper I’ve ever had, and with such simple ingredients (love the charcoal grilling). Incredible meal. Thanks being a great host to us!

Local vibes, fresh fish that you can choose yourself before grilled, delicious clams. Very recommended to have some real local food surrounded by locals.

Every fish is the catch of the day, because it’s caught and served fresh. We had the sea bass, tomato salad, and mixed greens. More than enough for 2 people. Fish was so fresh and grilled to perfection. House wine was a great pairing. Service was excellent. Got there early as we didn’t have a reservation, and it was no problem.

Really excellent fish (in our case prawns to start and then sea bass) - straight from the pan to our plates. Also very reasonable house wine (€12 for the bottle). Super nice staff. Fine local atmosphere (plenty of locals dining) but maybe not for people who want high end table furniture. You need to bring cash (credit cards not accepted)

For a village full of seafood restaurants this is my favourite. Lucky to bag the last table. Perfectly grilled flounder was simply delicious

The owner here is so kind and friendly. Truly can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The fish is so fresh and be delicious, the house vinho verde is cheap and pairs perfectly with the grilled fish. Beautiful traditional Portuguese tiles line the walls. One of my favorites in town. Cash only.

Contemptuous unwelcoming vibes from a man who we assumed to be the owner. Felt very hostile. A fish might weigh a kilo give or take. €40-50/kg fish. Will never go back. I assume our spend per cover wasn’t high enough but with half the tables empty this made no sense. Plenty of welcoming generous alternatives in town. I’ve seen the other reviews. It seems you will be treated kindly if you’re spending €100+ One can treat tourists poorly because they come and go, but that doesn’t mean one is not publicly accountable.

We really appreciated the fact that the owner let us have a look a the fish counter so we could choose what to have for dinner. Very well prepared grilled fish. Also, the lime mousse dessert was excellent!

Staff were friendly and hospitable. Do ask to see their daily catch, they are happy to show you. The highlight of our dinner was the charcoal grilled sea bass and sardines. Perfectly grilled with a sprinkle of sea salt, the fish was juicy and fork-tender. Great spot for family style dining!

Easily the best Resturant in Ericeira . The owner and staff are super fun and the service is impeccable . The fish/seafood of course is 1st class and simply cooked . Love it !

Fish are caught that day then charcoal grilled to perfection. Go for the grouper, mackerel, and clams, add boiled potatoes, and a tomato onion salad. The cod fish cakes are delicious too!

Nice fish restaurant. Staff is really friend and even gave us dessert liquor on the house. We all ordered the sardines, they were clearly fresh, for some reason i had some very strong, almost bitter flavour in parts of mine which my friends did not, so that was the only downside of my dinner here. Would still highly recommend!
