The hotel staff was very friendly, and supportive. Our cars battery was flat on the next morning , and we can’t start the engine , but the staff helped us to arrange mechanics to come and solve the problem within a short time. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Easy distance to city centre

Great atmosphere, classy but still casual. You can even enjoy a late nite snack or have yourself a game of pool with some friends. reasonable prices too !

The pictures are deceiving. The rooms are ok but not great for a "4 star" hotel. The amenities have some wear on them. It wasn't horrible just off for us. The front desk was friendly. Staff was great. The breakfast in the morning hit the spot with a very kind breakfast attendent.

This place is the pits. Dirty, basement room looking into an alley. The window is tiny- curtains cover a blank wall. The wallpaper is coming off the walls and even though the room is a “double” it is so tiny we can barely fit our luggage and and ourselves into it. Mold in the bathroom and I can hear my neighbor when they are talking in a normal voice. The bed is uncomfortable and had a smelly cover on top of it. Great location but you get what you pay for.

We have been traveling in Portugal for 1.5 weeks. Out of the 4 hotels we have stayed at this has been the lowest rated in our opinion. Not sure if the wing we were in was not updated yet as the rooms and hallway had indoor/outdoor carpeting and beds were hard and pillows were lumpy. Two other wings seemed to have updated vinyl floors unsureaboutthe rooms in these wings. I must say though that the staff was friendly and hats off to the bartender we had, he had a good sense of humor which is always appreciated. Included breakfast was ok, typical to other hotels.

Service absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. But I found the bed to be too hard and the breakfast pretty poor. The hotel could really use a refurb.

Receptionists extremely friendly ,made us feels very welcomed. Room was a mixture of new and much passed their date items ,but clean .Could easily hear people next room . Bathroom : very small bathtub ,old and spray painted toilette seat,certainly not hygienic or a good look in a 4 star hotel,certain areas, need to be cleaned with much more care ,corners of shower glass very dirty,again ,not expected with the hotel rating. Teas in the room ,however, no coffee available at all ,except from the bar. Overall ,would come back as a pit stop but,it needs TLC in some areas.

Great bar! I would recommend it to everyone who visits Obidos. After 11 pm the place is popping!

Wonderful one-night stay here! Gorgeous rooms and fantastic location! We had no idea what to expect from Obidos and were absolutely blown away, having chosen this hotel for a one night stay on our mini road trip north from Lisbon. We can’t imagine not having seen this magical Medieval village at any other time except pre-sunset golden hour. Magical.

Pretty good, breakfast is good too

Most charming hotel close to castle and everything. The staff and management were warm and helpful. They coordinated a special birthday treat for my husband set up in our room while we were at dinner at the castle they reserved for us. Upon return, was a lovely spread of champagne and a devine tray of goodies. So sweet n a wonderful surprise. Beyond expectations!

Had a drink at their bar with friends really relaxing atmosphere very chill out. Had a great time. Staff extremely friendly and courteous.

The hotel needs some renovation - moldy smell, ancient air conditioning, and other room facilities that worn out. Hotel staff is extremely nice and helpful. 4 starts as while the hotel is dated it is still the best you can find around Obidos.

The rooms have a very uncomfortable smell and since we were on the street side they were also very loud! Breakfast is okay but the coffee is terrible. Staff is nice

Very well located hotel near the Obidos castle. Free parking on site or very closeby across the street at the free municipal lot. The rooms are clean and nice. Bathrooms partially renovated. The included breakfast was good. The main drawback were the uninsulated walls. You can hear the people in the next door room or the people out in the hall. Also, the bed was hard for my taste.

Room a bit small but very good cleannes. Top service.
