Excellent location and a very nice hotel. Breakfast (buffet plus eggs cooked to order) was included and was the best we had seen during our month of travels in Spain and Portugal. The staff was very helpful and spoke at least three languages including English, Portuguese, and some Spanish.

Good service. The staff are very attentive and the hotel is just a few minutes from the sanctuary of Fatima

A disappointment, from start to finish. At arrival my husband stopped to ask directions to the parking lot and eventhough it was night and freezing, they refused to let us park before all the family had been checked in - including the baby, that needed to be removed and replaced in the car, which was a hassle on its own. There are no signals poitning to where the parking lot is, and the description given by the employee was vague, which led us to the wrong place and the need to back up the car on a one way 50º inclination entry that almost cost the car it's gear box. Once we got to the room, the bins hadn't been emptied, there were wrappers on the unvaccumed floor, and the bathroom tiles looked filthy and precariously attached to the wall - which can be seen on the attached photos. The exhaust system also wasn't working, which led to a stay perfumed by baby poop - how agreeable. The New Year's Eve dinner was closed by 21h30 with the excuse of "not disrupting the local public celebrations" that were supposed to take place in the basilica square, according to the hotel employees - but took place elsewhere. Don't ask me where, I couldn't find them. The vegetarian options included a salad buffet that managed to have 8 dishes of which 4 had either ham, cod fish or chicken added to them, and the rest consisted of lettuce and cheese (which means I would have had one fewer option If I were a vegan), lettuce, chopped cucumbers, chopped tomatoes (that looked like they'd been there for a while, maybe chopped hours before the meal started) and shaved carrots. Warm vegetarian dishes included boiled cauliflower, brocolli and the occasional sparse carrot piece - and nothing else. Deserts were made up of custards, fruit, merengue or cake - again, a complete disregard for any vegan guests. At midnight we were forced to retire to our room, since we couldn't lcoate the local celebration, and my hisband tried to buy some beverages from the hotel bar, so we could have a toast in the room - the server was busy calmly filling the glasses of a table of tourists and asked my husband to "be understanding because he was working alone" and wait. My husband told him he'd slip upstairs to give me a kiss at midnight and come back for the drinks, only to return and find the bar closed - and our drinks and the server nowhere to be found. To his credit, he reopened the bar and eventually gave us the drinks, for a New Year's toast me and my husband enjoyed at 1h15. To make matters worse, the stay had been gifted to us by famaily staying at another room, but the note that we were not supposed to be charged the next day was only entered into one of the rooms, which prompted a whole new thing at check-out, because we had to "pay right here, sir, that's how the hotel works. You stayed, you pay", in the words of the less than friendly desk clerk. All in all, a big disappointment that I wouldn't reccomend.

Contrary to our experience at the hotel in Lisbon, this hotel is perfect for groups and any sort of traveler!! I would definitely go back there and stay for a long time. Not only are there plenty of lounges to relax in, but the breakfast/dinner were amazing and so delicious not to mention that the hotel is positioned right next to Fatima, with everything an easy walk away!

Well positioned for those wishing to attend the basilicas. Looks like it has been successfully renovated recently but our bathroom was not magnificent. Make sure the window is locked, ours had been left open and someone could have entered via the outside area (first floor). Dining room was chaotic at 0739 with a huge tour group taking over and staff unable to keep up. Go for breakfast after 0817 if you can. Food was ok.

I love this hotel, I wish all hotels I go to were like this one. Roomy, nicely decorated common areas, various living rooms to meet with fellow travellers, really comfortable

Great location close to the action in Fátima. Free WiFi, free parking. Walls are kinda thin so you can hear what is going on next door, but luckily it wasn't too bad. Wasn't busy when we were there.

I am sorry to say, no one answered their phone . After 3 days of wanting to find the best way to get to Hotel Santa Maria as I went by public transit. There is a bus , train..no one answered. As a result , took the train to Fatima, was stranded on a Sunday morn at the train station. Having to take costly taxi. The staff was unwelcoming. No explanation was offered. Or an apology. I am still upset. Recommend not to stay here.

Stayed here with my parents and sister for 5 night and was very satisfied with my stay. The receptionists were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and drink. Plus, the rooms were very clean and tidy. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Fatima.

Perfect location, great bar and chapel! The rooftop terrace has a practical view of the main basilica.

Value for the money paid. Friendly staff big room but bathroom slightly dated. Nevertheless very clean. I did not like the carpet floors. Restaurant for dinner very promising, nice set up and friendly waiters but both dished we ordered far below our expectations. Lacking both quality and quantity. Breakfast Ok.

Privileged location, in front of Sanctary. Excellent restaurants can be found in a short radio.

Standard hotel, very clean and functional. I believe it suits most of those vising Fatima for one night. Extra points for having accessible rooms, which was a must for my elderly parents.

Great clean hotel and really good location. Only had one bad waiter service at dinner. Gave 4 star to room as the walls were paper thin so I could hear everyone in their rooms which was annoying.

Excellent 4-star. Better than many 5 star hotels. Ample rooms, ample hallways, quiet and just 50 m from Fatima Sanctuary. Covered secure parking garage. Can't beat this. Immaculately clean.

A very comfortable 4-star hotel in close proximity to the Fatima sanctuary and other important spiritual locations in town. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The same goes for the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with hot and cold breakfast menu items, and there is a full fruit and cereal station. A well-stocked bar can be found in the lobby area. I had a wonderful three-day stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location, large room, clean, modern and buffet dinner, although not exceptional was more than sufficient. Breakfast lacked some items (bacon for instance) but again, selection was good.

The location is ideal, very close to the church. 5 minutes walk that's all. I was able to have dinner then head over for night mass. The rooms are clean, though the shower head is very loose and didn't stay up. I had to hunch over to get under the head, and I'm not even that tall. Breakfast is very disappointing, with very minimal selection. But for its location, I think it's absolutely fantastic!

Excellent hotel from the location, the staff, and the public areas. We just stayed one night on the way to Porto and can't say enough about the place. Very clean, the room was very large and the bathroom as well. Very impressed especially with the restaurant and the free breakfast was a spread with everything you can imagine. My hat's off to the management. Great job of keeping everything in tip, top shape.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, very nice aesthetics. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The most wonderful thing about this hotel is the distance to the Santuario de Fátima. It is literally half a block away. Highly recommend this hotel for those wanting to make a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima's shrine and having the convenience of it being so close.
