located on a small square in the city center of Toulon, this friendly restaurant offers a varied menu of extremely good dishes. I wasn't able to taste everything but given the dishes that passed me and were served on the terrace, I suspect excellent value for money. I ate the sharing board filled with several small grilled meats, cold meats and cheese. I had a really good time. Installed on very comfortable seats with a small cushion, this place allowed me to escape to the city center. I highly recommend it. Outdoors and indoors, the tables are spaced far enough apart to have a pleasant time without hearing the neighbors' conversation. A superb outdoor lounge able to accommodate nearly 10 people, was just waiting for us. Too bad there were only two of us.

I dined twice in this establishment in which I ate well and served relatively well. The place is nice in the heart of Toulon on the Place de l’Équerre. Last Saturday I reserved a table for 7 people: the dinner and the service were dramatic!!! And I weigh my words: disgusting wine, the Moscow mule with bits of ginger in the glass with a taste of sugar, I wonder if there was gin!!! The ceviche was surely made by a child but not by a cook, the fish must have been defrosted... it was swimming in the water!!! The boss must have had 4 gr impossible to understand him and the waiter did what he could to make up for what was not acceptable. I have rarely been so disappointed by a restaurant and above all I am not used to taking so much time to express my dissatisfaction on Google but frankly it was so lamentable: drinks food service... I even thought there was a hidden camera !!! Don't go there, they don't deserve it!!!!

Wonderful restaurant, in a fantastic place in the middle of Toulon. Prices between 14 - 28 euros. The service was super nice and the whole terrace invites you to linger. The salad de chevre (salad with goat cheese in puff pastry) is highly recommended, everything was perfect.

Nice restaurant with affable and very talkative waiter.... On the plate, perfect egg, tartare in different styles,... Fast service. If you can eat on the terrace, that's better.

A delicate and delicious restoration! From starter to dessert everything is perfect. A wide choice of wines, some 30s cocktails. A place to discover quickly :)

Everything looks homemade. Small menu but not all dishes were available because the restaurant closed the next day, a little disappointing. For my part the lamb was overcooked. The cream that accompanies the brownie tastes quite strange, it made me think of expired milk. Personally, I could make the same food at home; I find it a little too simple and not very well done for a dish that you can make at home. The service is good and fast. Good welcome. Fair prices.

Starter: cheese platter - cold meats - homemade fries - small fish cooked in the fryer - garlic and pickle mayo... At the top... the girls and parents loved it ****** Dishes: we ordered risotto, tuna and salad. The only problem is the salad, it was nothing more. For the rest it was a treat. ********* We didn't have room for dessert. A good address that I highly recommend. In addition, the restaurant is well located because it is at Place de l'Équerre and not far from the artists' district. All you have to do is go there...

Avoid at all costs. Surly owner who took our order 30 mn after we arrived (he didn't even offer water or drinks for the table). We patiently waited another hour . Then the owner came back and asked us to confirm our order just to be sure. We later saw him talking to the chef who repeated our order out loud whilst passing our table. Our food arrived ten minutes later. My tataki tuna was nice but my friend, who order a well done steak, realised the meat was hardly cooked and almost "bleue" (rare). We sent it back and it came back slightly better but still full of blood. Needless to say we will not be coming back. There are a lot of choices on place de l'equerre but Josephine is certainly not our favourites. If you want to have a good night, I advise you to go somewhere else.

Very disappointed: - cooking not respected (meat and fish) - well stocked plate but with poor quality products - fries filled with salt. - raviolis drowned in cream Service bordering on acceptable despite the efforts of the young waitress. With a group of more than 10 people and a bill of 650€, no efforts or commercial gestures on their part (digestive...) Good points : -tapas and aperitifs good and generous Establishment to avoid!!!!
