Spent a wonderful time in the gardens and the museum. Well worth a visit..very educational. Will definitely be going again, even 8f it is just to enjoy the playground!

The staff here are very friendly. The South African lady is a hoot. Very nicely organised with interesting exhibitions. The taxidermy is top notch.

Beautiful place with a lot of intriguing fossils and mineral, plus a large park with key points for children!!! Dioramas with prehistoric creatures, Neanderthals and animals!!!

Very good displays! You learn a lot about the Var region in terms of geology, paleonthology, ornithology, botany and zoology.

Reception desk does not speek english. The exhibition is so nice, but it is only understood by people who speak French. Nothing is translated.

Museum Departmental du var is a nice place with a playground for children. The museum is a small one. It is accessible via public transportation. No entrance fees.
