Top-notch, focused museum. Well worth the visit for a wide-ranging audience. English is a first-class citizen. Same font size throughout; even captions are translated. Thanks for that. Museum is nicely bookended by strategic discussions of what led up to and what came after military actions in the south of France. In the middle are exhibits on operations/tactics which are supported & humanized by compelling artifacts. Solidly curated narrative about this operation, why it matters, and its legacy. Museum successfully appeals to various audiences from kids to those wishing to explore topics in depth. VISITED: 24 November 2021

Great exhibit, you learn more about a lesser known war effort during WWII, from a North American perspective.

A fantastic informative little museum with brilliant exhibitions. If I'd known about it sooner I would have left more time to give it the attention it deserved

Great memorial. Incredible views across Toulon over the port and surrounding areas, especially from the top floor balcony of the museum. Incredible museum (about the Toulon and its role in WW2.) Really well done, very interactive, all in both French and English. Been recently completely renovated so very modern and accessible. There is also a restaurant. Able to eat picnic lunches in the grounds of the museum with the views.

Well presented including quality English translations. Worth the modest entry fee. The drive up to the museum is its own entertainment, or catch the cable car - but be aware it takes 15-17 people per car with minimal ventilation and no social distancing. Recommend driving.

👍👍 This place is beautiful. I spend most of the days at the library. The environment is peaceful and centre of the city. This is my go to place in Toulon when I was learning French
