It takes you to the mountain top by 8 euros which is quite cheap and the view is great as well as the journey. However to reach the cable car it might be tale 20 to 30mins walking and clmbing from the main station of Toulon. Also, there might be a queue, so set aside atleast around 2 hours for the total trip.

Cool way to see Toulon. Tough walk from the town centre to the start of the cable car. Price was €8.50. Cafe at the top friendly and helpful with good selection of food and drink.

Fantastic cable ride leading to spectacular views and a free museum at the summit which was very informative. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all it was worth twice the 8.50 we paid. Brilliant value.

Amazing views of the area but we had to wait 45 minutes to go back down at the very end of the day and ended up late for dinner. Perhaps better to drive up instead to enjoy the top of Mont Faron. We happened to be there on the 15th of August so we got to watch part of the air show from up top as per the pictures.

From city to Telepherique is easily accessible by bus 40 or by car. We (2adults & 4y old) had really good experience. View from top was mind blowing. Cable car is frequent so don't have to wait long. There is restaurant, toilet facilities (2-5min by walk) and Zoo(25min by walk).

The queue was really long with close to no indication of waiting time. The crew was nice, but the ride was really crowded so it was impossible to move to enjoy the view on the way up - unfortunately. We bought a combo ticket for bus and téléphérique from the tourist office for 7,5 euro. Most of the stuff at the top has an additional cost, but the view is really great!

You can get to the cable car station by bus line 40. The price for the return ticket is €8.5 and it is definitely worth the price. The frequency depending on the number of passengers, as if there are few, they are waiting a little bit. The journey takes around 5-10 mintues but the view is spectacular, the cabin also has glass floor. Be aware that there is a 30 minute lunch break between 13.00-13:30.

Not for the faint hearted if you have agrophobia! Views are to die for though, as is the bar/restaurant on the side of the mountain. 7.5€ inc the bus is a bargain

The walk from city center is not for the faint of heart. You’re better off purchasing a bus 40 ticket and enjoying the panorama. It was quiete an adventure for a few pics, once you withstood line for the cable car, but priceless views of Toulon.

Amazing views, very very slow from purchasing tickets to joining the cable car! Only 2 cars running all day which is a shame as the views are amazing when you finally arrive at the top.

A must experience in Toulon. It's a good idea to buy a 1-day pass "Jour telepherique" at the Tourist Office on the day when you plan to go to Mont Farron.

Phénomenal experience, upon arriving at the top of the mountain you get a beautiful view of the azure sea and also a lot of terrain to explore peacefully, a few minutes away there's a zoo and in another direction there's a shrine.

My recommendation is to go to the tourist office and buy a return ticket for the cable car for 7,5 euro, which includes also public transportation in Toulon for a day (includes also the boats that are part of public transportation: 8, 18 and 28, which you can use to go to Les Sablettes, Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer and Port de La Seyne-sur-Mer). Since I arrived at the tourist office before 10am, when the cable car opens, the guy working there told me to wait until 10, so he can call them and make sure that the cable car is running, because it depends on the weather. So I returned at the tourist office at 10, bought the ticket and then took bus 40 (unfortunately on Sunday and holidays it runs only once per hour) to the cable car station. When I got up on the mountain, I wasn't sure where the viewpoint is and decided to follow the signs to the viewpoint in the south. You can go there either by following the road or through the forest (the path through the forest is shorter, but a bit more difficult). Unfortunately, there was some fog that day and I wasn't able to get the best view, but at least I took advantage of the ticket and used the public boats to visit the other places that I mentioned above. When I returned from the mountain, there was no bus coming anytime soon and I walked back to the city (took me about 25 min). Up there is also a war memorial, which has a viewpoint, but you have to pay the entrance fee (5 euros I think) and there is also a cafe, right next to the cable car station, which opened around 12.

They were really fast, cars were often so you could arrive and leave whenever you wanted to. The bus from the city centre took you straight there and we bought a ticket for the bus and the attraction which was €7.50 each. Amazing value for money, 100% recommend a visit.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Easy to access with car or bus or a nice walk. Very smooth and safe ride up and down with beautiful views. Special thank you to the team and to the young man that was operating in the car with us. He was very helpful and friendly and also the guy at the ticket kiosk. Thank you to all these friendly people working here.

Nice ride up and down. Remember to reserve tickets online, then you can skip the queue! Only thing is they cram 15 people into this small car, which is really crowded especially during covid

We went at 10am to avoid big queues and we did well to do so as queues were big in the sun when we came down at 1pm and parking not easy later either. The kids loved the ride up and down. It's over quickly though! There's not lots to do once up there. The views are obviously spectacular, other than that there's a little kids' play area and a walk through the forest to the zoo. There's a very restaurant at the top too. We bought tickets online which avoided the queue but meant we didn't get the discount on the zoo. The zoo was really disappointing as well. The enclosures for the animals are very small which was distressing to see and most animals were asleep.

The cabin is very hot in the summer, but the view on top of the mountain is amazing and worth it.

Efficient way to reach the top of Mount Faron, with stunning views! A small area of glass in the carriage floor for the adventurous. Be warned the carriages are quite small, so not to be recommended if you suffer from claustrophobia.

👍👍 This place is beautiful. I spend most of the days at the library. The environment is peaceful and centre of the city. This is my go to place in Toulon when I was learning French
