Almanach is a great place to get some great beers, finger food, deserts and most importantly, laughs. The Almanach is a nice cosy place with a light fireplace in the winter, has art work that changes from time to time and can get very busy on weekends. My girlfriend and I ordered the burger of the month, Gorgonzola, walnuts, confit of tomatoes, rocket and a bio beef pattie, served with home fries, about 10-15min after our order was taken we were served! The only let down of the burger is the bun, ( store bought bun ) but it can not reflect my rating as the price is amazing for such ingredients, taste and great beers for every taste. We came after 8pm on a Tuesday. It took almost an hour to get two burgers and there were only 4 other tables being served and one received food when we arrived. The place was incredibly hot too (it was plus 32 after all) and more drinks, even water, were not offered. Food was ok. House mayonnaise was a yummy topping for both burger and frites.
