The Japanese lady was very serious and had an attitude problem. There were no one waiting outside the restaurant had several empty tables. I sat down at a table and told her My friend would be here soon and I will order for both of us. She said I had to wait outside until my friend arrived. So I did and thought that’s the end of the story, but no. She showed an angry face toward us during our meal and immediately after I paid, she gave me a long speech in Japanese. I didn’t understand any of it, but I it’s likely scolding me based on her angry face. There is no English sign in the store. How is a new English speaking customer supposed to know her rule? It’s a terrible lunch experience and thus 1 out of 5.

I really don't understand all these positive reviews. 1) The lady who seems to run the restaurant was rude to many customers (and that was not a matter of language barrier). 2) limited menu is fine yet good ramen should have quality and varied ingredients. Anyone who has actually tasted quality ramen can tell the difference. 3) Very poor value for money (14 euros for instant noodles, meat and soup, and nothing else, is not worth it). Just because they're busy does not mean they should compromise quality and service.

This is THE ramen spot in Toulouse for sure! Legit ramen, friendly and attentive service. Only downside is the place is small(approx. 20 people at a time)and there's a long line even before the place opens.

This is the best ramen spot in Toulouse. We had a wonderful tantanmien which was full flavoured and the noodles were cooked to perfection. There is also an interesting selection of beverages that are not easy to find. They serve tsukemen type of ramen which is rare in Europe. Just be prepared to wait in line sometimes more than 1h. Still - a great place worth a try.

Pure happiness is what I would feel sharing a meal here with my most closest people 🌻 The owners and whole staff is very sweet, polite yet professional. They don't miss any detail in regards to service and they will truly try to accommodate you to a have a great night! This is the most authentic Japanese cuisine that you can find in Toulouse. The noodles are very delicious springy, chewy and flavorful. The broth, tare, side dishes, appetizers and so on, everything was executed on a very high level. We recommend to try out the onsen egg, as you rarely get this outside of Japan or onsens(hot springs). They offer noodle refills to some dishes and last but not least, we appreciate the desserts that they offer. From what we understood, those are imported, but none the less they fit the Japanese theme and are yummy! For us, this was a sublime and blissful experience, I want to revisit already! 😫

The people at the counter are rude and not at all polite. Due to a mistake with their website I went to pickup my order and they refused to give it to me. They could treat customers more politely and be sympathetic, is not hard!

Their ramen is one of the-if not the-best ramen in Toulouse. The place is quite small and that's why most of the time you will have to wait for quite a long time. The place gives you the very authentic ramen shop of Japan. The owners are very nice and very accommodating. For those who don't eat pork you can ask them to change it to chicken.

What a lovely place to eat if you love ramen. Only ten places available so we were there before it opened. Lovely experience which we will definitely repeat. Small menu prepared fresh, perfectly washed down with a Kirin beer.

We were puzzled to be turned away even though we had already been waiting in line before 2pm (which was the last entry time stated on the shopfront). The Japanese lady staff said the couple before us could enter because they had waited for 30mins and we had not. In addition, we were chided repeatedly for not having visited their website and seeing that they opened at 12 and that we should have arrived earlier. So, it seemed that we needed to queue for a long time as well as visit their website if we were to be permitted entry at all. We were tourists and had 2 hungry children with us so it was not a pleasant first impression of Toulouse. They also claimed that they had no noodles left to serve us. I hope businesses that are popular remain humble and not let their popularity get to their heads like this establishment.

Best ramen in Toulouse. If I could eat here everyday I would. The service and people are super good. Everything is super fresh and made in the moment. You definitely have to go early and start queuing before it opens.

Very good ramen. Maybe not the best I ate, but very, VERY close to. Absolutely worth the wait. Place is small, so if you're late for opening - waiting is the only choice.

Been here three times. Love the ramen, the gyozas and the Japanese beers they have on hand. Super friendly service. Show up at least 15 minutes before opening if you want a seat right away.

Great place to enjoy your ramen

The best ramen place in Toulouse, tasty, flavor-rich broth, home made noodles. This is a traditional Japanese restaurant, meaning that there is a limited number of portions to be served each day and you won't find anything with an European twist. It's just like travelling to Japan - be prepared for something different, but awesome.

I asked to the waitress about the difference between the ramen, cause I saw a great difference in price between shoyu (10,5€) and miso (14€) ramen. She said that the chasu-men would be exactly like shoyu but with more meat (14€) while miso-men had miso soup and no egg, nori or other vegetables. Hence, I asked for chasu-men to find out that it only got 4 pieces of meat, noodles and traces of japanese onion. No marinated egg, no nori nor other vegetables (as in the shoyu-men). Noodles were ok, but the soup was oily and not really tasteful. In my opinion, the place is rather overpriced and overrated. Maybe I had my expectations too high.

Great place for Ramen, Gyozas & Mochi! The fact that you can't reserve by telephone and you've to wait in a queue to enter well before the opening time adds a bit of uniqueness to it where the food is the culmination of the patient waiting! Great experience overall!

I enjoyed the eel. However I am not sure why I am eating japanese cuisine on a trip to France.

I asked nicely to Japanese waitress what’s inside in the soup. She was so annoyed to have a question and said something in Japanese language just before I left which was a word very rude. Only one visit was enough and ramen was too salty. I don’t think it worths waiting for 30 mins to taste ramen here. You would be more than welcomed to answer for my comment.

Nowhere else in the world will you encounter such rude service. My food bill was 18 euros, and when I tried to pay with a 50 euro note, the owner lady refused to accept the money, stating that in France, we don't accept large bills for small amounts. It's ridiculous to say 'we don't do that in here' kind of thing from one immigrant to another. I have never had any problems paying bills at other establishments in France. She even rudely suggested that I go to the ATM for smaller bills. What if I didn't have another payment method? The soup was full of noodles but didn't have much broth. It's even difficult to stir. If you're new in town, she may try to take advantage of you. So, I recommend avoiding this unpleasant place.

I can't make a feedback on the food. We drove 1h30 especially to come to this restaurant and arrived there 1pm on a Friday (closing 2.30pm). We were ready to wait a long time but got kicked from the end of the queue by a staff, with not much apologies or explanations. If you dont live in Toulouse make sure you can arrive before 12.30. I knew from google reviews that it would be busy but still acceptable to arrive 1h30 earlier the closing time...

👍👍 This restaurant is wven better than what our acquaintances had told us. The waiting queue lasted for about 30 minutes. I would really recommend to go there at 9PM (21:00h). At that time the first shift of people have finished their dinners and you will not have to wait any time whatsoever. The meat...
