This "salon de the" in my opinion has the best cakes with lactose free. For those of you with lactose or gluten intolerance or allergies, THIS is the place. The cakes are delicious, and so is the tea, which they have a good variety. However, you will need to be armed with time and patience. The staff is really very nice, it's probably due to being understaffed or some work organisation. There was a long queue on a Saturday afternoon when we were there. The tea room was full, but there was only one person serving, taking orders, and cleaning the tables. The queue got longer, and eyes began to rolled. Customers were coming out, but the tables could not be cleared, so from the outside, we saw empty tables and uncleared tables while we were standing in the cold. The waiter was very apologetic and pleasant. However, he said he had been working non-stop since noon. We were there one Sunday for brunch. We arrived just past 12 noon. We were the first table (of 4) to be seated. The service was still slow. It would have been a 5* if the service was quicker. I would still recommend this place for an afternoon tea!

I really love this Café. The waitors/waitresses are really nice and welcoming. The place looks really good. Their products are affordable. The coffe / hot chocolate (haven't tasted the tea yet) are really good. Home made chantilly always tastes better on either the café viennois or hot chocolate viennois! The cakes are just delicious. My favourite café in Toulouse. The only ick might be the fact that it's not accessible to disabled during winter.

the black woman in the counter was so rude. We came to have some tea and hot chocolate but she never welcomed us. The first time we visited she was not welcoming and it felt like she was kicking us out. The second visit we tried again it was the same. So rude so we left and never come back again. The place looks really nice but I don’t wanna encounter her again.

This does not open at 1145 as per website. Or 12 as per door. On Friday 15 Sep 23 they opened at 1.30, we arrived at 11.45 and were disappointed. We had gone across the city for gluten free pattisserie

We got there a group of three people, they made us wait outside around 30 minutes, and the group before us came in first. On top of it, when telling us to wait outside the waitress was rude. We have understanding because the place was full, however that’s not a excuse to treat customers that way. Two starts because the desserts look tasty. Would recommend but only when not so crowded.

Had afternoon tea with my friend here on a rainy day. They are very busy so I'd recommend making a reservation. We got there just in time and managed to get a table. Their menu has so many lovely desserts to choose from and they serve very big portions. I ordered the chocolate fondant with a chocolat chaud a l'ancienne. I know it's two chocolate items but they complemented each other really well. The hot chocolate was more cocoa flavoured and the dessert was very sweet and chocolaty. It was a perfect mix for me. My friend got tea and a lemon pie slice. We had a great time!

Not great. It's missing personality. Good portions.

Lovely tea and very welcome. Lovely cups and plates, nice selection of pastries. Alas my crumble was a bit burnt, or I'd have rated it a five.

A good place in Toulouse for cup of tea or coffee with some desserts. If you are interested this type of patisseries, you can visit it.

😠 Avoid at any cost!! No air-conditioning, extremely hot inside!! We spent an additional 6€ for the Dolby Atmos screen to get ourselves steamed inside this!!

👍👍 This restaurant is wven better than what our acquaintances had told us. The waiting queue lasted for about 30 minutes. I would really recommend to go there at 9PM (21:00h). At that time the first shift of people have finished their dinners and you will not have to wait any time whatsoever. The meat...
