Stayed
here
three
nights
on
a
business
trip.
The
hotel
is
an
old
town
house
conveniently
located
on
the
edge
of
the
bustling
down
town
area.
Facilities
are
very
basic
(no
bar,
no
lift,
shower
in
the
bath)
but
the
rooms
are
big
(mine
was
like
a
small
apartment),
comfortable
and
clean.
The
owner
is
very
friendly
and
helpful
and
speaks
fluent
English.
He
responded
to
email
queries
and
was
happy
to
order
taxis
etc.
It
felt
more
like
staying
as
a
guest
in
someone's
house
than
a
hotel.
Regarding
the
lack
of
a
lift,
the
stairs
are
not
too
onerous
but
you
would
not
want
to
lug
big
heavy
suitcases
up
them.
The
host
prepares
and
serves
breakfast
which
is
served
in
quite
a
cramped
room.
The
breakfast
is
a
croissant,
some
fresh
baguette,
jams
and
yogurt.
This
was
all
nice
and
fine
for
one
day
maybe
but
no
other
options
means
it
is
boring
after
a
while.
Also
it
was
too
sweet
(for
me
at
least)
and
lacking
any
protein.
It
would
have
been
good
to
have
the
option
of
some
cheese,
ham,
eggs
etc.
or
some
fruit.
I
did
ask
but
was
told
this
was
not
possible.
Not
sure
why
not.
If
you
like
the
uniformity,
amenities
and
features
of
the
standard
chain
hotels,
then
this
place
is
probably
not
for
you.
If
however
you
enjoy
quirky
places
with
more
character
and
individuality,
then
you
might
love
it.
I
would
recommend
for
a
night
or
two
but
for
longer
stays
you
are
going
to
want
to
skip
breakfast
and
go
to
a
local
cafe.
