I arrived at 12:30 and was told if I wanted to check in before 3:30 that I would need to pay 30 euros even though there was a room available. ???? This is a new experience to be asked to pay for a two hour early check out for something that costs them nothing. I understand late check out fees, but this seems gratuitous. The person who was the employee checking me in seemed extremely nice and very apologetic about this after she checked with I think the manager. It's unfortunate, but since the service was nice I would give them three stars. The lobby is nice, the bed comfortable, the room was interesting due to the vintage design. The location was good. They did get a taxi for me and tried to save me money by contacting another guest to see if they wanted a ride share. That was great. They said that they would make a reservation at a restaurant in their hotel. When I arrived at the restaurant, they told me that no reservation had been made but I was early in the evening so they got me in regardless. They tried but this stay was average.

My friend and I had an unexpected stop in Toulouse and quickly needed a nice play to stay. Hotel de l'Opera welcomed us with open arms. Friendly, warm, and very helpful staff. We were upgraded at no additional charge; a kind gesture that we appreciated after a long day. Rooms are very large, elegant, and classy. A historic hotel with lots of charm and set back from the street so it's quiet and private. There's a Michelin-starred restaurant right outside the front door plus a "grill" just steps away.

Very special hotel, great design, comfortable room, attentive service. Felt like went back to vintage time... had a pleasant rest. Close to everything in the city center.

Classy hotel, vintage design in good taste and excellent condition. Staff is friendly, rooms are really nice and spacious, I had a view over the roofs. There is a bar and a beautiful foyer. Location is perfect, just at the corner of the Capitole. Minutes away from the metro. I liked the little personalised welcome note and the little bag of delicious truffles. The brasserie a few meters away from the hotel is a must.

A charming, old hotel with updated, yet old world decor. The beds were supremely comfortable, the wood paneled rooms with oversized paintings, elegant, and the lobby and lounging areas welcoming. The location was excellent. Book with confidence!

I visited together with my team this hotel and over all i had a very positive experience. The good: - What makes this hotel special is the extreme friendliness of the personal. - My check in experience was awesome. The man who did for me check in was so friendly. There are also 2 other receptionist : 1 man with light beard and a blonde lady (sorry, i do not know the names) they were so friendly and always met us with a smile providing all help possible. - The lady that was helping us with the meeting room was super nice and very helpful. - The breakfast team was super polite and very friendly. - Rooms are big, with AC and comfortable beds. - hotel is clean - location is great What needs improvement: - food variety in breakfast is limited - breakfast place is very small - no gym - hotel a bit old needs reinnovation

We were a family of five who stayed at this property for four nights in three different rooms. Our room, a suite, was well appointed, had great big windows with a lovely view of the square and a very comfortable bed. The shower in the bathroom had some design flaws which left water pooling on the floor, but the room was otherwise nicely laid out. Location made it easy to walk everywhere and very central. Service was friendly and polite enough, but upon asking for restaurant recommendations, was provided pamphlets of a barbecue restaurant nearby which seemed a little odd. Otherwise the reception desk was very helpful securing reservations for restaurants we picked out ourselves. Would recommend for visitors coming to Toulouse.

I stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! Finding the hotel was simple, it's really not that easy to miss when you're standing in the square! And from the metro it's like a minute walk which is also fantastic, Walking in, I've never seen any hotel like this! It's like everything is antique when you walk in! I'm not sure if the seats were for sitting or looking at lol. (they are for sitting! and very very comfy seats for sitting!) Check-in was fast, friendly staff and in English which helps me as I don't know so much French, another nice thing that happened at check-in was I was told my room had been upgraded (if only they said this on my flights!!) but yeah I was happy to hear that. On to the room, it's amazing! I loved the wood, the deep warm colors, the bed (the comfiest bed!), the bathroom. everything about this room was such a nice feeling and place to be really! I don't know what room I was upgraded too; I would like to know so when I book next time I would get the same room! But yeah being here had such a nice feeling. In the room also attached was a small private terrace type thing where I could smoke which was handy. Though when I first saw this I thought it was part of a restaurant!! I was like no way people can come sit here right next to the window of my room!! so closed the curtains. a little later checked this out again and looked closer and realized it was just for me!! It's a great hotel. The staff are all really friendly. concierge and reception staff. The Wi-Fi is excellent in my room which is handy. The area is great been central to all the shops/metro I would recommend if you are visiting Toulouse to check out this hotel!

Good classic hotel in an unbeatable location, with friendly staff and with an authentic charm. The bathrooms are getting spruced up it says on a sign in the lobby, which is good because they are a little worn. 8/10 would visit again.

We stayed here a night and didn't really know what to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised. The location was ideal, the welcome was friendly and the room was spotless. Staff were service minded, check-in/out was easy and fast. A great base for striking out on the tourist trail. Very reasonably priced, this little hotel has far exceeded my expectations. I will book it again for sure!

We rented a room for two nights in January 2022. Great location, great staff, and great hotel rooms. We had an heating issue with our room, the staff was very comprehensive and offered us to change for a new one. The overall design of the hotel is maybe a bit old but it ads to the charm, and the rooms are great, specially the bathroom. Breakfast was good and what you would expect. If you have issues climbing stairs, I would precise it when booking. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift, it wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be for some people. Overall good experience, would book again.

👍👍 This restaurant is wven better than what our acquaintances had told us. The waiting queue lasted for about 30 minutes. I would really recommend to go there at 9PM (21:00h). At that time the first shift of people have finished their dinners and you will not have to wait any time whatsoever. The meat...
