Lived in Toulouse since 2015, I have known this café for a long time. It was always welcoming, warm and of course, of safe quality. But I was really disappointed for everything that happened this afternoon (12/29/2023) with my friends and me. We came around 2 p.m. We were three people. We ordered 4 products: - 2 pastries - 1 tea - 1 coffee. We paid separately: - The first person paid for tea and a pastry. - In turn, I told them that I was going to pay for the coffee, and the third person will pay the rest. The server looked at me "weird", and asked me to repeat. So, I repeated slowly and paid for my coffee in cash. - There, just the remaining pastry remains. But the last person of the three of us was left with the entire bill! We request a refund. The server responded to us slightly aggressively saying that the word "the rest" didn't mean what we thought (?!). His colleague intervened and reimbursed us. However, the refund amount was wrong. We therefore requested a refund again. The two staff looked at us again and they made the refund with certain "attitudes". And I would like to point out that during our entire conversation, we received no apology from Flower's Café!

Beautiful cafe with a nice outside sitting area next to a fountain. This is the place to have your hot chocolate while in Toulouse. You can choose the consistency between epés which is thick and liquid. The liquid itself is not too watery. I recommend the hot chocolate without any added flavour or the vanila or the orange flavoured ones. I do not recommend the almond since it just comes with almond shavings on the top and is not very flavourful. They have a huge option for pastries. The portion size is big. I recommend trying the carrot cake and the chocolate-orange cake slice. The pecan pie is less sweet.

Ignore other reviews - this place IS great! We didn't realize it was a popular spot as we came early, but a queue was forming as we were ordering. The salad was extremely fresh and the best of our entire trip so this is a must order. Then the cake selection! Our cake was very nice but I feel we should have picked something more interesting than chocolate tart - there is so much choice! Fresh orange juice was great too! Coffee okay (from pod). To finalize this place is in a lovely square. Can't recommend enough!

The cakes were better before.. The last ones that I have tried today were too sweet.. As always, its nearly impossible to find a place outside for a group of 4 people..

The best cake & tea salon I’ve been to yet! Bonus for the amazing music 🥰✨💜

Place is good but not worth of hype. Or we just went with very high expectations after reading those amazing reviews. Be ready to stand in long queue as they don't have any reservations policy. We tried multiple deserts and it was just okay. Chesse Cake flavour was just from jam. Chocolate cake was just okay. Carrot cake was good

Usually I don't give bad feedback bc everyone should make their own experiences but this time I would like to share... I ordered 4€ Tea and a muffin and when I finished the impolite manager asked me to leave bc she now only wants to serve customers who order breakfast. I had to pack and to stand in the rain at 5 degrees. This really ruined my morning plans and I want to make clear that the cafe wasn't full, my table wasn't reserved nor nothing + we are talking about a Café - not a chic restaurant. I ordered totally adequate things and was forced to leave. And there is definitely a more friendly way to tell a paying customer to leave because you hope for bigger money. A really bad experience especially when on vacation. No recommendation for this one and the tea and muffin weren't good in a way that would give the manager's behavior any sense.. As I can see there is comparable feedback concerning the manager's behavior of the Café.

I expected very good, but it was just good. Worth a try, but not as special as all comments tend to say. We took 3 desserts: the cheese cake was really nice (9/10). The chocolate cake was a bit too heavy, maybe needed a cup of milk on the side or some cream on top (7/10). The pistachio framboise tarte was not that good, i expected the pistachio flavor to be present, it wasn't there at all, instead there was a flavor of almond extract (4/10); we struggled to finish it.

There is always a long line at this cafe and for good reason. I have tried every pastry and I have many favourites! The cheesecake framboise is excellent. The chocolate cakes are the definition of chocolaty and the pies with fruits are all fresh and amazing! I come back to Flowers cafe each time for their hot chocolate which is a winter favourite and must try!

Eccentric cafe with a quirky display of old artifacts .. ..discoloured photographs, teddy bears, vintage sewing machines, butterfly prints, books, antique wall ornaments, musty suitcases, but, hey, this place has plenty of character! Just a short walk from Toulouse 1 University Capitole. We had our morning coffee here :: Lots to choose from - French fruit crumble-hot from the oven, almond flavoured coffee and my wife was impressed with their house blend vanilla-infused herbal tea. We then came back for lunch the next day! Try their salmon-avocado tartar — what a dish!. This eatery has a pleasant lively atmosphere and definitely deserves more than one visit .Excellent views into the square, superb snacks, lovely service and very reasonable pricing...

    - REAL melted hot chocolate 🍫 6/5 - Burrata salad with Olive tapenade 🫒 5/5 - rasberry pistachio almond tart 🥧3,5/10 Flavor is nice, but a bit too sweet - high quality Damann Frère tea 🫖 5/5 The salmon salted tart from the table next to us looks amazing so I’ll be right back for it 🤤 🤩 Follow @taste2feast on Instagram for more food/cafe recommendations in France 🇫🇷

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful esplanade onto a small square with a fountain. The cakes are beautiful and delicious! We tried the natural chocolate one which was divine! Lunch was really good! They have light options like salads, quiche and salmon tartare. It gets very busy on the weekend! Highly recommend!

Very close to the capitole. Their coffee and cakes are tres bien :-) Usually, you'll find a long queue, but you don't have to wait a long time before getting seated. The servers are efficient :)

If you want to have a true French goûter, this is the place to stop off! There is a wide selection of cakes and tarts that are absolutely delicious and the tea was perfect.

The place was great both food and ambience wise. But it is extremely busy even during chilli winter evenings. So be prepared to queue before you can be seated and orders taken. I loved the cheesecake and the servings were huge.

Great place for tea with cakes. Superb terrace by a small fountain. However service is a bit rushed and not that helpful with non-native French speakers

What a great café in Toulouse. The « chocolat chaud épais » is unique! I’ve never had one like that before. I recommend this cafe for couples, friends and family. Such a lovely place!

Good vibes and I think it is great to have a meal. I went there for a coffee and it is below average. Thanks to the great staff.

I just hit this place randomly and it was the best cake ever I tried in Toulouse. The Pecan pie was warm and not sweet much. The host and staff were so kind. I'd love to visit again for Banofee pie for next time!

Sweet cafeteria with kind staff. We were seated outside under the heater, so ate comfortably. Waitress could speak English, which was great considering that menu was in French only. Mouth watering desserts, a large selection available which can also be taken home at a reduced price.

It was average at best! The cakes look good, not amazing like in some of the other patisseries, but the taste was bland and wayyyy too sweet.

Superbe café... Très délicieux! (If you can't handle your insulin level overshooting then you shouldn't visit :D )

Coffee and tea more expensive than the airport (4€ each), not even in a tea pot. Worst cheesecake I've eaten, dry crust and the flavour was all in the jam. I don't usually write reviews but I was robbed! Only decent thing is service.

Cakes on display are simple but attractive. But beyond appearances, it wasn't great. The cream on the banoffee cake was hard. There was a ton of cream, but at most a layer of two very thin pieces of banana, and an even thinner layer of caramel. Not much taste. The biscuit was dry. Comparable to what I'd find at a supermarket, and certainly not up to par with other pastry places within a 10 minutes walk.

they only have one gluten free option, but it was the most exquisite cake I’ve ever had

The cheese cake and tarte pistache framboise were good! Nice place for afternoon tea.

Perfect place for lunch! Tried their salmon-avocado tartar — it’s exquisite. The pistachio-raspberry tart was good as well, but cappuccino could have been better. Still, the place has a pleasant lively atmosphere and definitely deserves a visit.

    Really Great Place!

Very nice cake store with lots of yummy desserts to choose from, and served in a generous size. Cappuccino was the strangest looking I've ever had, which I suspect was percolated not an Espresso shot based. No onsite bathroom, so that's the missing star. Do come for the food though.

Lady who served me was very kind :) Cafe latte was pretty normal but the banofee was amazingly good.

👍👍 This restaurant is wven better than what our acquaintances had told us. The waiting queue lasted for about 30 minutes. I would really recommend to go there at 9PM (21:00h). At that time the first shift of people have finished their dinners and you will not have to wait any time whatsoever. The meat...
