That was probably one of the highlights of my for my trip in Toulouse. Was planning to visit the Halle des Machines next door. But their schedule changed unannounced. So, I stumbled upon this cool museum. The tour guide there greeted me when I arrived and changed to introduce in pretty good English when he realized that my French is almost nonexistent. There’s English in most exhibits. His tour was in French but he came back to me afterwards and tried to explain the history by simulating that I were one of the pilots recruited in the 1920’s. Very passionate people about what they are exhibiting! And his pilot outfit and waist coat etc are tailor made by artisan tailors using the methods from 100 years ago. You should check this museum out if you happen to visit the Halle des Machines even if you are not an aviation fan!

May 2021. Really a nice museum about the early days of Aeropostale, early 1920... And keep 20mn for the Saint Exupery exhibit on the way out. Really nice heartfelt colored displays and text.

Rich History . It also has a flying simulator. Very nice place for a weekend visit, specifically with kids.

A nice place to discover the history of the pioneers of aviation. I contains quite a lot of objects related to the first age of aviation together with interactive explanations of the evolution of the airlines in the years. It also includes a room dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his adventures in the desert. Recommended!!

Interesting museum in which you can discover a lot about the roots of the aerospace industry in Toulouse, going back to the creation of the Aeropostale.

Good exhibition about the beginning of the French aviation. The only note I would make is to include subtitles in English on all of the historical footage. (Subtitles in English are however present on some of the descriptions)
