Unnecessary use of violence. One of our friends was violently lifted and pushed out the terrace for bringing some food, even tho the bar's kitchen was already closed. The security guard acted disproportionately with excessive force even if our friend had stepped out the table and was standing in the sidewalk next to it, which is public space. I will not go back nor can't I recommend a place that tolerates this kind of behaviour in their staff.

I love coming to the Black Lion when I’m in Toulouse. It’s the only bar that can properly do a Vieux Carré and and Old Fashioned with grace and ease. Great pub style seating indoors and amazing outdoor terrace seating when the weather is nice. Food and drinks are on point, offering a mix of Anglo-Franco choices for guests to choose from. The bar is slightly misleading to tourists that it is an Anglophone bar - it’s not and I’ve never received English service. If you don’t speak French staff will middle through with you and are as helpful as possible. The bar staff are also really fun and always happy to try and make cocktails I’ve had in other bars which is a nice touch. I recommend for anyone in Toulouse. 5/5.

A cozy place to drink. They have some nice beers on taps, good cocktails and good shots. We went there on a Sunday night (Not the most ideal day to got to a bar), and there was a quiz there (which was in English). One of the most famous pubs in Toulouse, open till late, large ,crowded, good music. Large terrace usually full of smokers.. Serve quick easy food at night until 23:00, like fries or fried stuff - not really good but goes with beer. Serves real dishes at lunch.

Lovely looking place with an ample outside seating area - as it was November when I was there I was thankful for the heaters outside too! I didn't order food there, only drinks, but I did see some food being taken to tables and it smelt great and looked good too.

I stumbled on this place on my way to watch a football match in an Irish bar further down the street.it was lively to say the least and people were in good spirits (Liverpool were winning) and seemed to be enjoying the food and drink..as it was a foreign bar I was in I enjoy sitting and watching people interact..it was a very pleasant evening ..food was reasonably priced I didn't eat the food so i can't comment on it..and staff were friend and helpful as my French was not up to scratch
