A must-see place in Toulouse. Very pleasant walk along the Brienne canal in the heart of Toulouse. Historical Channel of the history of Toulouse. To do for any tourist coming to visit the pink city, the visit can be done on a barge.

A beautiful city canal with promenades on each side, topped by many poplars. Benches to sit on and several nice brick bridges to cross. The canal was first filled with water almost two centuries ago according to an inscription on one of the bridges. They go for a lot of running and recreation on the air routes that were once used by the animals that pulled the ships through the canal.

I took a walk along the very green and leafy Canal de Brienne. It links the Canal du Midi with the Garonne River and winds its way through the historic center of Toulouse. Many of the buildings surrounding it, old and new, are part of the campus of Université de Toulouse.

A pleasant walk under the plane trees. Their shape and arrangement creates a sort of tunnel of leaves above the canal. In autumn, they take on a pretty yellow-orange color. There are also a few barges.

The walk along the water is pleasant, under the trees and with the greenery of the banks. From time to time there are benches and trash cans but perhaps not enough and it is true that the main avenues on either side create continuous noise.

A very successful experience, the boat ride through the canal is essential in a visit to Toulouse, the cruise can be booked online, which I recommend and advise to be almost half an hour before it, it is important to get a seat at the front of the boat to enjoy and experience more the excitement of the opening of the Saint Pierre locks. The cruise lasts one hour which is very enjoyable, the price is 14 euros per adult, although there are offers for groups and children.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful canal. Unfortunately, the residents or rather, the revelers who return or who leave Saint Peter's Square dump their waste 🤬😤 Canal path ideal for walking, jogging and fishing. (Original) Très beau canal. Malheureusement, les riverains ou plutôt, les fêtards qui reviennent ou qui partent de la place Saint Pierre balancent leurs déchets 🤬😤 Chemin du canal idéal pour balade, jogging et pêche.

(Translated by Google) Really great to walk on the canal. In autumn, the colors are sublime. For those who enjoy walking or cycling, there is a good way to go. On one side you can go to Blagnac, and there must be another course and on the other, you have the Green Casting Amidonniers which brings you to the Bridges St Pierre and others.

A canal which is approximately 1.5km long and which stops in the town center opposite the Garonne. An adorable and very pleasant place to stroll, stroll, walk and even run. There are benches all along both sides to sit in a magnificent and magical place in the city. Dirt roads on both sides of the canal. 2 barges at the dock towards the middle, bridges and places where you can exit the canal and join the roads on both sides of the canal and even change banks. I ADORE!!!
