Located on the eponymous square, and erected by Urbain Vitry in 1826, it was the first to give out sprays of water. At the top of 3 circular Carcassone stone steps is a marble basin 5 m in diameter. In the middle of it, a block of white marble from Si Béat (31), with curved sides, is decorated with 3 lion heads, in bronze. Three winged bronze mermaids, with transparent sails, support on the tips of their wings a white marble basin more than 2 m in diameter. The marbles were cut by Layerle-Capel. A jet of water rises in the basin, the water falls then flows through the lions' heads. The fountain was designed by Romagnesi

Place de la Trinité is located in the center of Toulouse, between the Capitole and Place des Carmes. A well once stood in the center of the square, replaced at the beginning of the 19th century by a fountain. The square takes its name from the former 19th century convent that once stood there. There is a majestic statue of the Three Graces in the middle, and all the buildings are very beautiful. Surprisingly, some are social housing. It is best to go in winter, when the statue is made all the more beautiful by the covering of frost.

One of the most beautiful squares (or fountains, it's the same thing!) in our city. Life is intense around this superb bubbling basin; It is true that the opportunities to come to Place de la TRINITÉ, or simply to pass there, are numerous. Lots of small restaurants on the square itself as well as in the neighborhood. Lots of shops too. Around the square, admire these 2 magnificent buildings, one decorated with statues, friezes & columns which make it a masterpiece, the other decorated with a fantastic bow window on 2 floors in a resolutely art deco style ! Who wouldn't want to live there?

The Trinity Fountain on the square of the same name in Toulouse was built by Urban Vitry in 1824-1827. The main characters are the Three Graces, three winged bronze mermaids. Unexpectedly beautiful, especially if you see it for the first time.

A superb square in the heart of Toulouse with this fountain, the work of Mr. Urbain Vitry. It has been listed on the MH since 1946 and its construction dates back to 1826. It is made of marble from Saint Béat and stones from Carcassonne. It is decorated with magnificent winged caryatids, which represent the three Graces. A must see

Very nice square where there is an impressive fountain. You will find many cafe-bars in the surrounding area, but with enough hustle and bustle.
