It's is hard to write a review that merits what we experienced. The sheer kindness of the owner made the simple food he prepared for us the most memorable restaurant experience I have ever had. The food was absolutely delicious and at the same time made you feel you were eating at home. I went with my 3 kids and the gentleman was especially caring and patient with them, that for me is priceless. We don't speak french but he took the time to explain us the menu, offered the kids complimentary desserts/treats. Honestly, If I lived in Toulouse I would go at least once a week. If you are a vegetarian or just like the cuisine this is definitely a place to visit. It is inexpensive and tasty moroccan food with a cozy ambience. We basically tasted the whole menu and everything was mouth watering. The whole place was very nice and comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate. You will not regret going there.

Simple, but very delicious, vegetarian cous cous or tagine. The staff are great, very friendly, and even brought me a second helping! The set menu had split pea and cumin soup, the main course and a choice of pastries for dessert, and a choice of tea to accompany the meal - we had a Ginger, and a mint tea. Really great place for lunch

As almost everyone wrote, from the moment we entered with the most sincere welcome from the owner through our whole meal, it was a joy. Tasty, healthy, homemade vegetarian Moroccan food at every plate. 3 course menu for 13.5€ Closed Sunday and Monday.

Our lunch at Safran was wonderful! The environment was cosy and the seating area was comfortable. We ordered the couscous and received a salad and a desert at the end. After having many heavy French meals (but still delicious!), it was nice to have something filled with vegetables and spices. 3/4 of our party didn’t really speak French, but the host and what I assume is the owner were incredibly inviting (and spoke English). We really enjoyed our lunch and recommend to travellers looking for something different then traditional French cuisine.

Very lovely owner that makes delicious authentic vegetarian marrocan food and great mint tea. We felt very welcome and would to come back some day!

Budget price, cosy environment, friend staffs. I'm an Asian traveler, i thought it won't be suitable for me at first but it turned out greater than expected! He even offered me if i want to have more food!

The kindest owner you will ever see, as soon as you enter the door "Bonjour Monsieur, vous êtes le bienvenu !" Pretty funny as he says it to everyone ! But the nicest little tea room and restaurant in the city. Definitely worth going to, not expensive either.

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant and recommend it. The preparation of the food and the presentation of the food is excellent. It is close to the city centre, and so well placed; but within the atmosphere is peaceful and calm. A good opportunity to recharge before moving on to the next sight to see!

One of the best meals we’ve had, the food was absolutely delicious! We shared a few plates and it was all so tasty (my favourite was the aubergine). The man who runs it is also really lovely, excellent hospitality - we felt incredibly welcome. Can’t recommend it enough!

The most friendly encounter/ atmosphere that I had in a restaurant. The food is delicious and tasty . Good selection of fresh teas and dessert. Beautiful and authentic decoration. My new favourite spot in Toulouse. Definitely recommend
