Excellent 👌 food at reasonable prices. The menu selection is not large, but what's on there is really very good (I had extremely tender salmon with excellent potato gratin, and 16 other colleagues tried nearly everything else, and everybody was extremely happy). The chef also came at the end for a nice quick chat. Tasty wine selection, too. Overall, an excellent experience, we will be glad to go there again!

Me and two friends spent a night in Toulouse and chose Oh la vache! as our dinner choice. After being seated promptly we took in our surrounding;, a great atmosphere and central Toulouse location added to its star quality. Our waiters spoke both French and English adding flexibility to the different language barriers our group had. I chose the pork plate tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly, served with a generous side of fries. It added for a homemade feeling meal… the exact thing you want after escaping the rain. As our group all chose fries the head waiter offered us there in house specialty side so that we could try it. It made us feel very appreciated. I will return and this is a must for anyone visiting Toulouse !

Meat quality is great, portion is huge, gratin very tasty. Meat in general doesn’t seem to be pre-seasoned so has to add salt and pepper afterwards, even taking the sauce into consideration. Medium rare more towards rare.

Very friendly restaurant with great service and good food. We went in October and it was warm enough to sit on the street in the evening for dinner. I had the steak and my wife had the pork. Both were very good. I had a rum baba for dessert for old times sake...but should have had the tiramissu. Waiter was very friendly too.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The moment we stepped inside, the tantalizing aroma of the cooking food greeted us, setting the stage for what was to come. The owner, who personally explained the menu, exuded a genuine passion for food that was evident in every detail. The magret de canard, a standout dish, was perfectly cooked, achieving that ideal balance of tenderness and flavor. Its accompaniment, a zesty lemony sauce, complemented it beautifully. The dauphinois, seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of gratin, was a delightful side dish. Despite being comfortably full after the main course, we couldn't resist indulging in dessert. The tiramisu was an absolute delight, a sweet finale that left a lasting impression. Overall, this restaurant offers a memorable culinary journey, with impeccable dishes and a warm, passionate atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Can I give 6 stars . We enjoyed every bite ! The salad entrée with home made mayonnaise, the entrecôte , the beef tartare , the duck and the fires and patates à la dauphinoise, just melts in your mouth ! And they serve a nice fresh red wine that goes well with the meals . And finally , a very nice financier aux pistaches . I will definitely come back when in town . A must in Toulouse .

Friendly welcome and service. Excellent food and good price for city centre. Limited menu but would recommend. They've got it right.

So much fun! The owner welcomed us like old friends and made recommendations. The gratin of potatoes was sinfully good. The tartare was delicious, the steak not so much but the hazelnut mousse/tiramisu dessert finished the evening nicely.

Very friendly and helpful staffs!! English menu is available too. The food was reasonable and really good. Unfortunately i didn’t have room for dessert but for sure it’s good. Better to make a reservation, or come at opening time otherwise it’s full house.

A wonderful restaurant with wonderful staffs, to receive and to serve the customers. The food options are limited but the ones on the menu are classic and pretty good. Bit pricy but worth the penny. Had an amazing evening at this restaurant. Will visit again.

Few restaurants in Toulouse evoke the quintessential feeling of seriousness that the French bring to the table when it comes to food. However, the atmosphere is light and extremely friendly. Just like the cannon fire at Austerlitz, my lunch went with a bang. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for meaty French dishes but dishes that are done well. Bravo!

Really (REALLY) amazing dauphinoise potatoes, as well as an expertly dressed classic salad with gizzards as a friendly sized and priced starter (don't skip it) with well grilled meats and competently salted fries. If you're looking for a solid non-fussy dining experience in central Toulouse, this is a very good bet.

Very reasonable prices, wonderful food and great service. The menu is relatively short, the choices excellent and the ingredients are fresh. I had the duck gizzards to start, duck with citron sauce and potato dauphinoise all of which are amazing. The potato dauphinoise are sliced so thin that the potatoes become one with the creamy sauce. I'm sure they fries are good but definitely get the potato dauphinoise. My wife had the salmon which had carrots and a chive reduction cream sauce that she loved. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

5/5 food. I had the salmon and potato gratin (highly recommended). The gratin melted in my mouth, and my girlfriend’s duck was also incredibly tender. Staff are very friendly, and it’s not too pricey. Unmissable!

Great food for moderate prices, clear menu on one page that has everything you need! The beef and gratin were very good as well as the house wines. The atmosphere was really nice with genuinely friendly staff and a feeling like at a friend's place. You could see that everyone around had a good time at this restaurant. We left very happy and would return without hesitation,.
