Excellent tour, excellent guide .Harry is a great mixture of historian , wit, raconteur and has lived in Toulouse for over 20 years .Harry explains his tour is slightly different, he will take you into an unusual Basilica, but leave the more ordinary ones for you to visit yourself . He paints history with modern phrases and transports you to what life must have been like in 1300, 1400 etc . Really friendly , great knowledge about the tour, lots of great advice about what else to see, where to eat .

Harry is a well versed super fun guru who walks and talks history. He speaks with a passion in his voice and eyes unlike many gurus and reels you into his style of story telling. A great lesson in history and a wonderful way to explore the beautiful city of Toulouse on foot! Wonderful anecdotes and a great sense of drama and humour make Harry one of the best gurus I've seen in Europe.

Harry is a great guide who truly seems to love his job and it displays in his tour! He is a great storyteller who is going to keep you hanging for more and more historical facts about Toulouse. Harry met us with a good welcome and we felt straight away that we had made a good choice. Although not a native of France Harry was well versed in the history of Toulouse. He made the the tour just right for the casual tourist and explained the historic background of the area/sites in an informative way. The whole experience was just right for us. Harry is a very likeable fellow.

OMG I’m learning so much, laughing so much and all of that make life better. I knew most of the subject (being born in France), well guess what, I learned so much details that create links between all the subject. Took this free walking tour with Harry and it was a total game-changer. Instead of the usual tour spiel, Harry's got this unique spin on Toulouse's history that's probably thanks to his background as a historical fiction writer. Every stop was cool, but the stories were the real deal. The guy's super knowledgeable and you can tell he's passionate about sharing Toulouse's tales. Harry was so enthusiastic and fascinated by the history of Toulouse that it was truly a pleasure to listen to him. I learnt many things, from the ancien history of the city to random facts, and he also gave tips about the best food places! Would strongly recommend, whether you are visiting for a day or staying in Toulouse for a longer time. Although 2 hours might seem like a lot at first it went by so quickly because it was very interesting. One can directly notice that Harry really likes his job and it makes the whole difference! I have done walking tours all around the world and this was undoubtedly the best. Harry is a wealth of knowledge, a great character and very funny. Having lived in Toulouse for around 20 years, he brings you to non-touristy places and tells local stories. He is a wealth of knowledge and knew the history behind every statue, building and street which the group asked about.

One of the best walking tours I've been on in Europe. Harry's a great story-teller, an ex-historian and writer who manages to weave together stories from all eras of Toulouse back to the Romans with the city as it is today, while keeping the group laughing throughout. A fun few hours of walking and history that will really give you another layer of appreciation for the city, and Harry gives a list of recommendations of all the best places to eat, drink and enjoy the city that he knows from 20 years of loving this city.

A great way to get a thorough overview of Toulouse! Harry's ability to weave history (sometimes several centuries back) into casual conversation was fantastic. We were a smaller group, so he was able to really tailor it - asking us what kind of information we were looking to gain.
