This is a glowing 5 star review. Very worthy of a Bib Gourmand. I would not question it if they were awarded a star. But thank goodness though, so I can keep coming back because of affordability. 45€ for a 5 course menu. Each dish was like a gift. Every first bite was like opening a present. The menu starts with an impact, taste is very in-your-face and wakes up the taste buds. We loved it. The 2nd dish was of mushroom and escargot..very comforting. Texture of both dish were impeccable. The balance of tastes were refined to the touch, very good! Then comes the plat of fish and then the beef. Both very enjoyable. This dinner was such a treat. Of course, the poisson was fresh and sauce was great with it. The roasted cheek chuck with bone marrow was like a nice loving hug served on a platter. On the side, 3 different ways to eat potatoes. Rich sauce. Truly elevated. I shake my head at Michelin. Why not a star? The desert…Again, I can’t say it enough, impeccable. Balance on the plate, we’ll thought of. Between the sour and sweetness. And the artistry on the plate. Every plate had very good execution. Such skilled talented chefs. The service was on par with the food. The ratio of waiter to restaurant customers at full house is good. Although there were 5 empty tables last night..I’m sure the servers are well equipped. We didn’t have to ask for water and bread refill, they brought on their own. Little details like this I am very aware. When I asked for ice, I brought in a snap. Every dish was explained professionally. In some fine dining places I go, the waiters seemed hurried and even forgetting to give the explanation. The decor is sophisticated boho chic. You can tell they made spots that are quite the Instagrammable. The restaurant’s vibe is really good. A truly lovely dining experience. They’re not open on weekends. Fridays are usually fully booked weeks before so plan a month in advance.

Good food, good service for this new restaurant at Les Carmes. Fresh products cooked with mastering and originality. Reasonable prices: entree -plat dessert- bottle of wine for 2 pax for 100 € for diner.

Food is good but service can be poor depending on the waiter. Last one didn't want to book us for 10 because "It is too complicated". Whereas others have been very friendly. It's a shame that service and food don't go in hand.

We were a group of six for lunch and each one of us was spellbound! We chose the three course meal and each dish surpassed our expectations. They also offer one vegetarian entrée, plat and dessert everyday. The food is expensive than average but it felt totally worth it! The ingredients are locally sourced and the overall quality was excellent.

We come here everytime we are visiting my partner's family. Until today every plate was perfect. Even while eating in michelin star restaurants, there is usually always something that you are not such a fan of. This is not the case here. Every dish is perfected, the price is very affordable and the staff is super nice. I can claim this is my favourite restaurant ever. 10 stars out of 5:)

Here we goooo... Michelin Star #1 - Cecile in Toulouse,FR. Food was very well prepared and delicious. The Wine was superb. Each dish was outstanding. I would recommend it to friends and family. Areas of opportunity - the 1-3 courses all were similar in context (different protein, but all were in presented in sauce). Would have loved to see a broader diverse selection to fully experience the depth and breadth of the chef.

We booked our table after a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is next to the market at Places des Carmes. It has a a cool urban vibe. The tables were filled with a very diverse clientele. The food is really good, but sometimes a bit too sweet. Some more sour and bitter in the dishes would be nice. Very curious to visit again and taste how the kitchen evolves! Kudos to the team!

Definitely recommend! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, great wine recommendation. Food was absolutely superb, every course was perfectly balanced and had a wide variety of flavors working perfectly together.

We came for a lunch and cannot say a negative word about the served dishes, inedeeeed! Very original, tasty, balanced...On the other hand, speaking English or bad Franch is not warmly welcome here..

We will have to try again as when we first visited it was not living up to the fame. The dishes were good but in my opinion falling behind some similar restaurants in the neighbourhood. Good food no doubt but nothing outstanding. The wine was rather flat and unimpressive this time. Will be back to try again - so far 4 stars.

We had the full tasting menu and it was outstanding. The best meal we had in our two weeks in France and possibly one of the best meals I've had in years. Our server was very nice and helpful with our awful French. Overall a great experience.
