It's quite a nice place to bring tour kids or just to chill out from the merciless sun of July. There are plenty of animals, many are domesticated animals so it's totally fun for kids to play and learn with it. The space is big enough for walks, strolls, and spacing out. Even found a wedding couple celebrating their big day in the garden last weekend. The entrance is free and the toilet is quite decent. Really helpful.

Gardens were okay. Some nice areas but it was a bit small and underwhelming. It's quite a journey from the center of Tours and I'm not sure it is really worth it. Parts of the gardens were not as tidy as you would expect from a botanic garden.

A lovely botanic Gardens providing a lovely location to walk, and for children to explore. Oy was a little odd to see two wallabies and a lone emu located in one of the enclosures.

Great place to go with a book and a picnic in the summer. Loved the take a book leave a book library cabinet which I gladly made use of it. Nice little cafe for a coffee too

Beautiful place to stroll through and relax on a hot summer day. Nice with children as well as there are various animals in the park.

Me and my kid love this place. Quiet, pleasant, with educational values and with a playground. And with animals and mini zoo. Unfortunately, pets (e.g. turtles) are closed quite early and at 18 you will not see them again. Minus one star for short opening hours.

Beautiful, big garden in the city, with a section for animals like emus, turkeys and even wallabies and a goat you can pet. There are different bits with Japanese gardens and medicinal gardens, and lots of different trees such as the 150 year old ginkgo tree! There is even a playground and swings. The greenhouse has many species of plants. Overall, a fantastic park.

Enjoyed the walk through the gardens. The only thing was the indoor displays were closed and only open late in the afternoon. At 2pm. Interesting plants and a lovely water stream to walk along with koi fish.

Quite a nice park to stroll through. My favourite part was the animals, I didn’t expect to see Australian animals so far from home 😆

Very nice garden with quite a few animals, but check the opening hours for the greenhouse before going.

This fantastic place is a botanical garden as well as a little zoo. A true haven of tranquility and beauty, just outside the centre of Tours, that is free to visit. Highly recommended!

I would say the nicest park in Tours. Different parts with exotic animals, plants and a lot to read. I personally liked very much the "evolution garden" with explaination of the earth and the roots of all plants and animaks, and ok also the human beeings. The came very late in earthage time... Inside the park is a huge exotic planthouse, which sometimes is ooen and cost some money. Also some nice lakes with flamingos and other birds round the arrangament up.

Very nice botanic garden. Most of the grass area are blocked but you can find some space to seat and enjoy

Lovely little park on the egde of Tours, we walk a little while but it's worth the visit as there are lovely plants and even animals. Little smaller than expected but completely free. Who would have thought you can watch flamingos in France.

Nice quiet place near the hospital. Entrance is free. Located near hospital, around 2.5km from old city. You can watch both fauna and flora here. It is moderate in size but worth the visit.

A gem of a place and well worth seeking out as away from the centre to the west. A well maintained a fully stocked park with beautiful planting, carex for by an army of gardeners.there are many stunning and varied areas of differing habitat including a canal and large pond. Plenty of shaded areas and benches to enjoy lunch. Free to enter and plenty of grass that you can actally sit on to picnic. A little gem of a place and our favourite place in the whole of Tours. Unsure about the wallabys... they didnt look enthralled at being there, but a little farm with different species like emu flamingos and turtles etc. Lovely childrens areas too. Will definitely visit there again

The best place to visit with your kids in Tours. I'm mean, the place is just OUT OF THIS WORLD. So many different gardens in a single place. They also have a mini farm with ducks, chicken, flamingos and many other animals. A nice playzone for the kids. And looooooots and lots of places for picnics.

It is a good garden with little animals and birds inside. The most interesting is kangaroo. And beautiful peacocks. They put a board to say dogs are not allowed but still people go inside with dogs. And the garden can be maintained little more and can be cleaned more.
