This is a must see when in Tours. With its cobbled narrow streets, medieval buildings, and many bistros/restaurants/cafes, it's a popular hangout place especially with the young crowds and students. You can party all night even on weekdays.

We loved the walk around the old Tours with cobblestones, cafes and specific architecture. Just sitting on a terrace, having cake and coffee and enjoying sunshine when too tired to wander

A truly great place. Beautiful old buildings alongside new ones. Even the station was outstanding and so easy to visit chateaux and wineries from here.

Always love visiting this part of Tours. Beautiful old architecture. Vibrant night life that towns much larger can't match.

Used to be a quaint place now not so much. A lot of bars and place to grab something to eat. Nothing to write home about but still a few interesting places (not on the plaza though)

Awesome historical walk with "place Plummeau" for a drink halfway in. Covers historical sites from 372 until XIX century. Takes a couple hours to loop back.
