Very helpful staff, they were able to easily direct me to the Loire cycle route. It's also close to the beautiful cathedral.

Normally I wouldn't review a tourist bureau but we dropped in twice to inquire about tickets to the Château de Chenonceau as the TI offers discounted tickets. When we return the next day to get them, a different agent asked my age and indicated that even bigger discounts for seniors were available at the Château so we left without buying them. And yes, seniors (and students) are about 25% less when you buy on site.

What a shock ten world class chateaux near Tours and not!! one tour available..no shuttle bus no guides no normal bus..nothing nothing...the chateaux need to hire their OWN shuttles..disgrace. you need a car or a byclyce.. I took the train but that is only for chenonceau or amboise and walk to entrance. Bordeaux much better organised.

Dimitri is a terrific host and guide. Very good English, surprisingly great Spanish as well we found out! We enjoyed our tour immensely with Dimitri. he has a good sense of humor, gave us enough time to explore on our own.

Small boutique with souvenirs, A lot information brochures and helpful assistants. I recommend add to offer some stickers, I love to collect them and I'm afraid that I won't have one from Tours. 🫤

Excellent service from Marie-Ann and the team! They provided exceptional service in booking a hot air balloon ride for us which was so wonderful! As we don’t speak French we weren’t sure of all the details but the Tourist Office team went out of their way to help. We had a fantastic experience. Fantastic service from Sewra at the tourist office. Her English was fantastic and she was so helpful. I'd highly recommend using the Tours tourist ofgice for help , advice and booking tickets for Chateaux visits.

Great information that I read through! But the girls at the desk didn't acknowledge me at all. I worked in tourism for 2 years and would always say hello to a visitor and try to make them feel welcome. I didn't get this kind of treatment from the tourist office in Tours.

We were told to buy our tickets to go to the chateau’s at your office, so we walked all over the town to find you only to be told to buy them online . Not very helpful as I send an email a couple of weeks ago .
