What an atmosphere with these candles in a pretty church that I often passed by and discovered. This quartet is a real team and in the 3rd row I was able to appreciate their movements and their faces. I was with my daughter-in-law who was delighted. This beautiful 15th century church, heavily transformed in the 19th century, houses some pretty things. In the 10th century, this primitive church was replaced by a new building which took care of the burial of the poor, it was the Notre-Dame-La-Pauvre church. In the 12th century, the latter was rebuilt in Romanesque style on the site of the current building, it was named the Notre-Dame-La-Riche church. Then came the Gothic reconstruction in the 15th century, on the site of the Romanesque church. The last vestiges of the Romanesque construction disappeared in the middle of the 18th century. The 15th century nave covered with paneling was vaulted in bricks in the 19th century and the aisles rebuilt.

An absolutely beautiful building unfortunately squished between other buildings which don't allow for a view from afar. The façade is stunning. Inside, the high vaulted ceiling, pillars, statuary, painting are fabulous.

Une église qui a du charme et tous les paroissiens sont très généreux et accueillants. Je vais chaque dimanche.

C'est une eglise aux volumes généreux. C'est le lieu de répétition du Tours Gospel Choir et un concert avec eux en ce lieu est splendide.

J y suis allée hier après midi et j'ai vu l'exposition Thérèse de Lisieux qui est très intéressante à voir et à connaître

C'est une église quoi, j'y suis allée pour la messe donc bon... Mais petit plus pour l'orgue
