Ask if more than half the wc’s are working before you book, otherwise sanitary facilities are compromised if the site is more than 75% full. At time of visit this week, south sanitary building had no working wc’s, approx 8off in number and no plans to reinstate before oct/ nov 2022 Used site shop ok, longer walk than I would have like to wash facilities, but once there excellent quantity and cleanliness. Requested non electric pitch as fees are expensive, luckily the pitch shading from trees didn’t affect my solar panel too much, stayed for 3 nights, definitely a family site… not a lot of privacy fir the price and watch out for the orangerie that isnt, structure yes, no oranges and definitely not an English village- overpriced and possible Health hazard due to tepid water to wash basins and lack of wc’s (none) in one block - may 2023, much better experience, part of a camper car group, site not fully open yet, so much more pleasant, cuckoo alarm call early each morning, wine and cheese tasting by Tim was tre tre bien 4stars, not paid bill yet #eekkk

Visited as a couple, and met with family. Tim and Jane are excellent owners, with no problem to small, even if you go up with a list. Camp site exceptionally clean, with good pitches, and when we visited was peaceful and quiet. The jewel in the crown is the swimming pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Would not have a problem recommending this site very highly.

Nice site, good, clean facilities (although a long way if you're in the corner of the site), lovely pool. Bar, restaurant, etc. Beautiful woodland setting, supermarket a short drive away. Tours cathedral worth a visit.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Liore Valley. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed the nice outdoor pool and multiple kids activities. The wine tasting that they organize every week was very entertaining as well. We will recommend this campground to friends and other people who love to travel and explore different cultures and traditions.

Super family friendly campsite in an idyllic forest setting with wonderful staff. The facilities are very clean, the pool is really enjoyable, and there is a great community feel - like the Monday market and the Friday wine tasting! Our 10 year old twins especially enjoyed our 4 day stay and it makes a great stopover between Calais and the southwest.

Stayed for 4 nights but would have stayed for 4 weeks if our time would have allowed! Superb site, with great and clean facilities. lovely pool and walks from the site. The Milk Bar does great coffee and the drinks and snacks are available from the pool bar in the evening which provides for a great place to chat and obtain local information from both our host Tim (who aka's reception by day and barman by night among many other duties no doubt!) and the other guests too. The restaurant also provdes delicious home cooked meals prepared by Tim's wife Jane and we highly recommend. Can't wait for our next vist. Thank you Jane & Tim for a lovely relaxing break in your beautiful piece of France. Deborah, David & Darcey dog 🐶

Excellent campground!!! Very nice located, very good facilities, the only little thing is that the bar closes early at 10pm 😉

I highly recommend this campsite. -The toilets are super clean -There are plenty of basin only cubicles -The showers are clean and have hooks and a dry area for your stuff -The swimming pool is great - the campsite itself is kept immaculate with options of different accommodations and services - there are plenty of things for the kids to do around the site with the Barn being a great shady spot to play some games - the shop offers a fair selection of goods with the local bakery delivering bread daily (order the day before) - there is a local food market in the car park on a Monday (get in there early to order your pizza as there could be a 2 - 3 hour wait) But most of all, Tim and his team are super helpful. Unfortunately our van broke down and we were stranded for a couple of days while our insurance sorted options. Tim could not have been more helpful and the site was a wonderful safe harbour while we weathered the breakdown storm. Thank you to Tim and the team. We hope to be back on our next French adventure (with a working van!).

We had a lovely one week family holiday and explored the Loire valley. Tim and his family were friendly and helpful. This campsite is beautiful and unique, the pool is lovely and the site is child friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend!

This is hands down the best campsite we've ever stayed at. It's clear that a lot of care, attention and thought has gone into setting up and running this site. The site is nicely landscaped and well looked after, the amenities are wonderful. The pool and wine bar area are brilliant. Kids activities are fantastic. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was great, we enjoyed the Monday food trucks too. The staff are all lovely and super helpful. Loads of wildlife and dark skies at night so brilliant star gazing. 5 minute walk to the village where you'll find a bakery and small general store. Great location, loads to see and do within 30 to 45 minute drive. We had a fantastic week and will happily return!

Lovely place to stay. The pool is a good size. The campsite wasn't too crowded (but it was the end of the season). The owners were very friendly and organised activities. The wine and cheese tasting was well worth it. They directed us to where we could buy the wines we tasted, so we had an enjoyable drive around the French countryside. We hope to visit again.
