We absolutely loved our at Hideaway cottages. The accommodations are great. We loved the view of the water from our well appointed cabin, the beach and riding the tricycle around the lake. We had a relaxing time yet so close to great restaurants in Lake George and everything the area has to offer. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

Quiet and Rustic cabin near lake. Nice and hospitable People. Location very near to Lake George. Best place for vacation. Only thing can be improved is cleanliness of rooms and electric points which were loose.

Currently in the midst of our stay, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this little gem is. The beach is perfect for our family, and the cabin is wonderful with a view of the lake and fire pit for s’more making. Kitchen has everything we need to prepare food for our large family, and there’s a grill right outside. Location is great, you could walk to Longhorn restaurant or head to lake George in a short car ride. We will surely be returning again

Been staying at these cabins for the last 18 years when I attend Americade Bike Week in June. The cabins are clean and well equipped with WIFI, AC, Cable TV, fully equipped kitchens, fridge, stove, clean comfortable beds and living room furniture. Right on Lake Vanare, there are very pretty views of the lake from the beach dock & beach, free row boats, fishing and a private beach. The owners, who just took over, are a very nice couple and very accommodating with their guests needs. I love spending the week there every year, and strongly recommend it! And it's only a 15min ride to Lake George Village. I always rent the Lakefront cabin, which is their best cabins, with a Jacuzzi tub which comes in handy after a long day of motorcycle riding in the mountains. This cabin is a one bedroom intended for couples, or a single person, but it also has a comfortable futon to sleep on too, and beautiful view from the covered porch.

Hide-a-Way Waterfront Cottages is the place to stay! Love the cabins, always clean and comfortable. Owners are attentive to detail and great Hosts. Love watching the sunsets and morning moon from the lake. Cannot wait gor our next stay!

I had stayed here previously with my husband and sons and wanted to have an experience here to commemorate the one year of his passing. Mary was very accommodating with letting us do so and with a short stay during their busy season.

This place by far exceeded any expectation our family could have anticipated. Kelly and Peter are phenomenal. They went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and ensure our stay was everything and more. Kelley is such a gem of a human being. They treat you like family here. We traveled with a 2 yr old, a pomeranian and a husky and it has been nothing short of perfect. If you're considering booking don't hesitate, just do it! We stayed in the Summerhaven and it was wonderful and right across from the beach which made getting the toddler to the water so much easier. The second room fit our pack n play fit perfectly! We would recommend this place over and over again. We are already trying to figure out a trip with family out here next year. Thank you Peter and Kelley!!!!!

Amazing time, lots of activities for the family or even by yourself. Only concern was the over abundance of flies while trying to enjoy the fire (could be contributed to the weather) was rainy. The new owners were friendly and fun. Wood is reasonably priced and burns well. Definitely a fun place to check out
